Owner seemed very dedicated to making the motel a nice place to stay. Had a great conversation with him at check-in. The kind of person you want to succeed by sending business their way.

Breakfast options were mostly shrink-wrapped, store bought, individually wrapped items. Fruit was the only “fresh” item. The lamp next to the bed with a spot to charge a phone was connected to the wall switch by the room door. To charge my phone while sleeping I had to turn on the switch, manually turn off that lamp, then unplug another lamp by the window that was on the same wall switch circuit, but did not have a switch of its own. Not awful, but awkward.

Have stayed here multiple times, four or five this summer, on the trips which took both us or myself through Mound City. They are always friendly, acomdating and interesting to talk to people. This is an owner operator retro place which is great for us/me. Quiet also. If you like modern fancy stuff this is not it. If you want a safe quality America/ veteran owned place which is clean, friendly, quiet, easy access from hwy this is a great place to stay.

There are not more places like this along our travels.

Absolutely amazing place, very clean and very quiet evening. I like the fact that there is a double entry system and that they take the time to ensure that their hotel is safe and well-maintained. bang for the buck, it is one of the best places you'll find within a 50-mile radius, decent price, decent amenities.

Older motel with large rooms and very well kept up and clean. Coffee and continental breakfast ready in AM. Not far off freeway. I left something in the fridge and owners were willing to ship it but I asked UPS and not allowed to ship liquids. Still their willingness was appreciated as it was a special gift for a neighbor. Ice machine and vending machines. Table in lobby to eat breakfast. Over all just a nice place

Birding at Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge was the purpose of our stay in Mound City, MO. Audrey's was a wonderful place to stay. We were greeted by Hank who was so inviting and gave us detailed instructions about the accommodations. The beds were very comfortable (which is always a bonus), the room was clean and neat, it was quiet, and we knew if we needed anything that Hank would be able to help us out. I would definitely stay here next time we come to Loess Bluffs.

Owner was nice and accommodating. Rooms are what you would expect from a small town family owned motel. They have done well to put some character and design into the rooms. Good place to lay your head.

Room was spacious. They put a lot of effort into making it fancier than your average motel room.

Location was great! Easy access to I-29. Walking distance to a great eating place called Quackers. Pet friendly. Great value.

Booked through Priceline and knew it was pet friendly; however, didn't know I was suppose to call and request a pet room. When checking in, was made to feel like I might not get a room I had booked.

This motel was as clean as the day it was new. Nothing neglected. Everything was clean in rooms, hallways, and usually ignored areas like ice machine, parking lot, etc.

no microwave or coffee machine in room but they were available on site. only minor inconvenience.

Continental breakfast was not great but there is a Mcdonald's down the road. Also Toad Hollar is not far away.

No extras, but a Nice place to stay if you just need a clean quiet place to stay the night while traveling.

Henry Just is charming and fun to visit with. This is a typical small town motel. I had low expectations but the place was great. The room was no different from most La Quinta or other mid range motels but less expensive.
