this is a lovely heritage hotel beautifully decorated. Its perfectly located n the historic centre of Sedalia and is close to many restaurants and sights.

Breakfast was very ordinary, for the price and hotel type it could have been a bit better.

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great and the older guy (host?) and the cook in the breakfast area were very nice.

The rooms were dated, lots of cracks in the walls. Just needs spruced up a bit.

I rode the Katy Trail. Was concerned about arriving on bike but staff was great - leave bikes in lobby. Room was beautiful and comfortable. There isn't much in downtown Sedalia - one so so Pub. This is really sad for a great old American city. But I loved the Hotel. Will stay again next time through. Maybe downtown will get more shops and restaurants.

Nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. Easy access to 2 highways. Price was very good for the time of year compared to any hotel with 1hr away.

The breakfast wasn’t that great, not a great selection and the juice was very bad. Walls are thin so you could hear loud neighbors, but thank goodness everyone around us were fairly quiet.

Since Sedalia, MO is my boyhood home, I was greatly pleased to see that the hotel was brought up to a very high standard that was first class, without being over-done. It was really nice to see that the new ownership had gone out of the way to bring the facilities to modern standards, but keep the decore within the period the building was built.

The only quival would have been that the hotel restaurant was not open, but that was because my reservation was only a couple of days after Christmas. That was more than made up by the growth of the town which has many new restaurants with a great variety of culinary taste.

The doors are great original wood work but they need to cut ashes so you can easily open and close the doors.

The motel was clean and comfortable, the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a/c worked good. They had a great breakfast. I recommend the motel very neat older facility.

Excellent location in the center of Sedalia Missouri within walking distance of many places. The hotel staff was friendly and more than efficient. The hotel glows with early nineteenth century beauty and charm. An adventure to an earlier time! The on location restaurant and bar are exceptional. Great stay with fantastic food to boot.

Location on the main street was great. Plenty of shopping within walking distance including flea markets/antique stores. The downtown view from the room was really cool. Ask for that if you go. The king room was very large. The queen room had the biggest deepest bathtub from long ago. It was wonderful. Rooms were exceptionally clean, well furnished and smelled great. Beds were soft if you like them that way. :). Plenty of pillows!

Beds were a bit soft for me. King room had a tiny shower...I mean tiny and no bathtub in the one we were given. Restaurant quit taking orders at 9 on Friday and Saturday nights with full occupancy in the hotel. Hotel guests should be prepared to park cars on the street because the parking lot is small and fills up. It's still free parking but limited and timed.
