The hotel is top rate - we did not expect much but we were blown away at how nice the rooms were, how efficient the check in was (they even give out FREE molson beer at check-in), how clean and pretty the pool area was, how delicious the restaurants were, and the valet was amazing - he had our car ready the second we stepped outside. Like any downtown area, there are homeless and sketchy people around. The security at the D protects the hotel and it's guests like a fortress. I could have walked around inside the D with $100 bills stuck all over me and no one could have touched me - they are that good. They even patrol the immediate area around the D so it is just generally nicer than the rest of the downtown area.

On freemont st, walking to many casinos and restaurants and very close to evel pizza our favorite... clean, comfortable, easy parking. Recommend around 23rd floor or higher due to freemont noise.

We were on 23rd floor and could still barely hear noise from freemont. I cant imagine being near ground level. Would recommend 23rd floor or higher.

Left the staff they were very helpful. The location was wonderful being right on Fremont Street because that’s what we were looking to see. It was close to the strip and Ubers were available within moments recommended to SoLo our friends and groups because you can hear Fremont Street for quite a while at night time, but being on the street you should expect it

I would’ve loved to have a microwave and a fridge in the room. It was hard to store any food or to think about snacking at night time and there wasn’t really any room service available coffee was $9.50 if you threw on some clothes and went down to get it until we discovered we could just go to McDonald’s and get it however Restaurants were near

It was clean.

Extra resorts fees. Booking should not charge a resort fee when the hotel will always charge it on site. I spent more than I anticipated due to this surprise and now my credit card is over the limit.

Stayed there 1 night and the location for access to Fremont St was perfect. Read reviews and they suggested requesting an odd number room to reduce some of the noise from Fremont that lasts until 2 AM, which I would advise also, even though there;s not much of a view. Room was comfortable and clean. Fremont street was amazing, kind of pricey but that's expected, just watch out for the hustles.

Would be nice if the parking situation was explained a little better. The only parking is the covered parking off of 3rd street, and your room key is used to access and leave the parking. If not staying at the hotel there is a $5 an hour charge to park there.

The location is great!

Our experience was great, however the last day at around 10:45 am one of the workers opened out door, we were about to check out and she knocked the door very aggressively telling us it was time to check out. I never had this experience in any of the hotels I have stayed.

I had never stayed on fremont street, but this place far exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff who actually check you in (there were no self serve kiosks which was a nice change), a very clean room, comfortable bed, fun casino, and the location was amazing. There was so much stuff you could walk to, so much free entertainment even on a monday night. All the food deals are here downtown, lime a $16 prime rib dinner nearby, and plenty of taquerias and pizza places if you just want a quick bite under $15. On the strip, prices are tripled and it's not nearly as fun of a vibe. I enjoyed the pool, there were plenty of pool towels stocked which is always a sign of good service. The vintage horse race game was great. The coffee stand by the elevators was great, and there was never a line. So convenient and delicious coffee with friendly service. The noise from fremont street didnt bother me or affect my sleep. The strip felt dead in comparison, it was nice to feel so "alive." And the price, roughly $70 per night with all taxes and fees included, cant be beat.

The pillows felt like they were filled with air, which was odd. Video poker had terrible odds, so i had to play at another casino nearby, and didnt get to enjoy their long bar, which looks so cool. The shampoo and body wash provided was way too watery. No refrigerator.

The D Las Vegas is a solid downtown spot. The location on Fremont is unbeatable, the casino is lively with a great vibe, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I loved the access to Circa’s Stadium Swim and the on-site food options like Andiamo and American Coney. Great value, friendly staff, and perfect if you want that classic Vegas energy without breaking the bank.

I had a great time at The D Las Vegas, but fair warning… it’s almost too much fun. Between the nonstop energy on Fremont and the 24/7 action in the casino, it’s hard to actually get some sleep. The place doesn’t really turn off, which is great if you’re here to party—but not ideal if you’re trying to relax or recover. The rooms were clean and comfy, but even on a high floor, the noise from the street found its way in. Honestly though, that’s kind of the charm—The D is pure downtown Vegas, loud and unapologetic. Just maybe don’t come expecting peace and quiet.

Great value (savings). Great food (quality). I love the elevators (easy and convenient). I like knowing that staff is always keeping restrooms clean (cleanliness). I appreciate checking for ID upon entering (safety). Pleasant staff (welcoming).

Room lighting too dim. It was worse for one of us who has low vision. The blaring music is too much to bear. I spent most of my gambling at nearby casinos with out all the noise. Toning down the music would be an advantage for more people to play on the lower level and/or playing longer at the casino.
