I appreciated the location (two of Reno's best restaurants are directly across the parking lot, and the shopping center is amazing). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The room itself was outstanding, so quiet and perfectly clean. The new bathroom was wonderful--good fan, and excellent lighting.

I was disappointed in the breakfast room (very noisy) and in the offerings (scrambled eggs made with a binder that contains wheat/gluten, sausage also likely to contain wheat/gluten filler). It would have been great to at least have bacon.

They had hot water maintenance the night we got there. We got in late and they didn’t say anything to us about a water problem. I went to take a shower and no hot water. We tried to call the desk but kept getting a busy signal. We saw a notice on one of the other rooms on our floor in the morning explaining the problem but we didn’t get one on our door so I was a bummer. Other than that it was great. Maybe do hot water maintenance in the middle of the night instead of 8:30-9 pm when people are still getting in. 😊

Loved how clean and bright the property was! Brand new so that helps. Hope it stays that way!

Would have had 10 out of 10 however I gave 8 out of 10 because our room did not have any hand soap or other bathroom essentials usually found in a hotel room. (Shampoo and body wash were in the shower on the wall). Glasses given out at breakfast were dirty in the way that they came out of the dishwasher with bits of things stuck to them. So in a sense cleaned, but gritty to the touch. Also the hallways were blazing HOT with heat while the rooms wouldn’t cool off below 66 and the air isn’t constant- it shuts off and turns back on while sleeping and wakes you up.

The room was very clean, parking was free and close to the hotel and the breakfast buffet had a nice selection of breakfast items to choose from.

The elevator to get to the 2nd floor took forever to get there. The only way to get the 2nd floor elevator to work was to push the up button to get the elevator to work and then push the down button once you were inside the elevator to get it to take you down to the first floor. The heater was way too high in the hallways.

Clean room. Comfortable Bed. Nice facilities. Good parking. Close to restaurants, shopping, theater.

Hot tub jets did not work. When we asked them to turn them on they said there were no jets but the jets were visible in the tub and did not work. Bathroom outlet kept tripping and had to call to get it reset multiple times.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean, comfortable and the staff at check in were very friendly. The breakfast was a bonus added to our stay. We love the location, and its walking distance to Trader Joes and many many more wonderful stores. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

The Hyatt Place in Reno is very nice. The location is great for a quick trip up to Lake Tahoe for mountain biking and site seeing. This location for Hyatt is close to shopping and is on the nicer side of town.

Nice spot in south Reno. Room had a little alcove with a couch and chair which came in handy when friends visited. Staff was helpful. We had no problem with the parking, but they weren't busy. Breakfast was excellent.

Closer to town would have been nice.

Only open for about 1 month... exceptional service by friendly staff. Modern, clean and comfortable room. Check-in and out a breeze. Breakfast outstanding - hot and fresh...

No microwave in room... As facility has only been open a month, they are expecting to furnish rooms with them soon.

We arrived very late and checked out the next morning after breakfast, so no review for an extended stay. BUT the room was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was tasty.

Nothing, I was happy with the whole experience.
