My partner and I were visiting Atlantic City for the weekend and didn’t want to break the bank. We read the reviews and decided to give this place a shot. We checked in late in the evening, so we were very exhausted from our drive. But check-in was a smooth process and the front desk gentleman was very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Location was perfect as it wasn’t far from the shore, commercial restaurants, shopping plazas, malls, GSP, ACE, etc. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were just as nice, no complaints. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and will definitely consider staying here again.

Breakfast although not grand, was exceptional given the price we paid for our stay. Especially since other competing hotel/motels don’t provide breakfast at all. Breakfast tasted fresh we just wish it would be open a half hour or so longer. Our room was cleaned by request which was strange but we could have not abided by the cleaning time windows. But with a quick call and request to have our room clean housekeeping came within the hour.

As always, the Garden State Inn is my go-to place in the Atlantic City area due to its cleanliness and the quiet in the rooms. It's a restful place. When you turn on the bedside lamps, the lighting is excellent...I can actually get work done, which is important to me. (I've recommended this hotel to several friends, but they're too snotty to stay at the Jersey Shore.)

Breakfast isn't bad, just a little bare-bones (bagels, cereal, juice). But it's good enough for me!

Really enjoyed my 4-day stay at this property. I drove from NC for a short vacation and to see Diana Ross at Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City. Also, I visited Brigantine Beach which is only about a 15 minute drive from hotel. The beach was beautiful, safe, and very clean. Really great restaurants near the beach. The Crab Shack had a great selection of seafood. I brought my own, comfy planets and pillows, towels, and wash clothes. Did not need or want rm service, and I made sure not to receive it, just by letting front desk know. Also brought a nice selection of microwavable food and my mini Keurig coffee maker. Never got their breakfast. Air conditioner was on point. Also, I'm glad I requested a downstairs room so I could simply look out the window and check on car. Never saw any shady people on hotel grounds. Cable had all channels. Would definitely stay here again. So glad I upgraded my room to a king with spa tub! Tub had powerful jets (controls on wall) all around. Spa-tub made my stay here a much more luxurious one.

The Garden State Inn is nicer and better maintained than most of the hotels and motels along the White Horse Pike. The rooms are cleaner, and the entire property is in better condition than most of the other places in the area.

The Wi-Fi wasn't very good in my room. I had to stand outside to connect. The roof also leaked into the bathroom during a severe thunderstorm, but it wasn't true.

The staff very nice and the rooms very clean I've stayed other places and when you get out of the shower your feet get very dirty just walking across the room but not at the Garden State I will never stay anywhere else I feel at home here I will say some of the rooms need to have the shower rods fixed but other than that I have no complaints thank you Garden State for a pleasant stay 🙂

My room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and I got more sleep at the hotel than I do at home. The breaskfast is always good and they have the best coffee, apple juice and orange juice I'eveer tasted.

The only thing I didn't like is the free breakfast doesn't include cold cereal, I wish they had Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes because allong with my morning coffee I enjoy having a couple bowls of cereal everty morning.

The hotel was exactly as we expected.it was clean, had basic amenities which is exactly what it described. There was a breakfast with cereal and bagels, coffee and juice, no frills!

The room was exactly as described, no problems. They did not provide many snacks in the snack machine, but that was the only thing that was not an issue, just a note.

Rooms were older but clean. You could tell they were attempting to spruce them up.

The continental breakfast was meager. Cereal, communal yogurt, toast, bagels, muffins, coffee and juice. At least provide individual yogurts😐

It was clean and comfortable

The security deposit sucks. I could afford the room more often if I didn't have to have an extra 50 bucks every time I book a stay. Even though I get it back it doesn't go back until weeks later...my experience anyway. I don't destroy rooms and I clean up my mess so I don't want to pay any deposit.

Check in/out was easy. The room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again! it was great having a microwave and refrigerator in the room,

Water pressure for sink was low and drainage was low as well. Light bulbs need replacing that were out over the sink.
