Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, never booked with Sonesta before, it was 8 miles from Ocean City and I believe it said 12 or so miles from AC so pretty convenient, staff was helpful and nice, pool was good size & clean, rooms were clean as well and comfy. We just needed a place to chill for the in between of our traveling and this fit the bill. Cheapest we were able to find given it was LDW & lucked out with availability.

There’s a lobby sign but you have walk to the front entrance which is past the sign that says lobby. There were no towels in the outside pool area. Breakfast being included with our stay was why we booked (besides the pool) they could do better with the breakfast options and the juices look like the ones they give you in the hospital. But shouldn’t complain given it was free- included with our stat.

First thing I observed was their poor taste in decoration. Then the upside down sockets. No ice or microwave on first floor or staff to serve it. For a decent working machine, one has to walk to third floor. There is an overly priced restaurant in the premises. Address in the add is confusing. I just hope to find better quality in other SONESTA places.

Check in was easy and fast, staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. The lobby area was clean and looked well taken care of. I love that you have access to free drinks, yoghurts and pastries in the lobby, that was greatly appreciated after arriving at 1am. The room was very clean, modern and well kept. We heard no noise from anyone around us or above us. The bed was very comfortable and so we had a great night's sleep. Everything in the room was in good working order. We didn't get to use the pool but we did have a quick peek and it looked very well maintained and clean The location is perfect, there is a Walmart in walking distance, fast food restaurants, gas stations ect all close by. The hotel has plenty of parking so no fighting over spaces if you go out in the evenings and return late.

The only thing I had trouble with was working out how to get the water hot in the shower so in the end I had to jump into a lukewarm one, not sure if there was an actual plumbing issue or just me not turning the tap correctly but it really wasn't a huge issue.

The place was clean. My room was nice and the staff was so polite and helpful. I truly wish I had this experience at most places. Also, great location. Right next to many shopping places.

No refrigerator or microwave in the room but due to the price and overall experience, it's not an issue. I'll definitely stay again.

The location. Halfway between the ocean and family.

Morning breakfast was not set up. I guess the person called out and wasn't replaced. So only coffee and tidbits for breakfast. Not much.....

Location is good .. lots of stores and restaurants nearby. It takes about 15 min to get to boardwalk and beaches. it’s worth staying outside the city in my opinion…hotel was very affordable

No breakfast which would have been ok but don’t even offer coffee. No snack or drink vending machines either,

Andrew the assistant manager was our hero! There was some trouble with booking.com and he talked via his own phone to them and was able to fix all issues! He saved our trip and that we will never forget!

My room nice and comfortable. The staff was great.The front desk clerks were very friendly especially Jamilah. Please give her a raise. My overall experience was great, I will book here again.

No hot breakfast. The kitchen was under construction but still could have been offered more than just pastries and coffee.

The one staff member Chad was the best ever. He was super helpful and even brought me out a towel to put under me while I was sitting out relaxing he went above and beyond for me and my family as well as other people that were staying there.Thank you Chad

It was very affordable and nice and pleasant. The pool was so clean to be outside and the location was great.

The AC in my room would not turn back on for 2 hours at a time,but it did work some times through the night was a bit warm in my room.
