The very first thing I smelled when I opened the door to the room was bleach. That made me very happy, knowing not only the place was cleaned, but sanitized as well. Great job!

My only complaint was how firm that mattress was. Maybe get a pillow top on that mattress or something. I have a broken back in three places and couldn't sleep very well because that mattress was extra firm. But otherwise, I had a great experience, MUCH better than it was in the 1980's.

Clean, made me feel safe, as soon as my wife and i pulled up we a feeling of relief, beautiful country setting, parking lot very clean, check in was easy, i met the manager Niki and her beautiful little daughter while checking in, i felt like part of the family right away, as my wife and i were approaching our room the first thing we saw was a cute little table with two chairs outside of the door, when we opened the door and walked in we looked at each other and said Wow!! this the most organized beautiful clean room we ever stayed at, i had to call Niki my self right away to tell her how impressed we are, clean floor we could actually walk around bare footed, cute little kitchen, New beds, and bed spreads, the way the towels were decorative folded, Wow ! it was like we were home, Very Comfortable! five star stay at a affordable price, we are definitely looking forward to stay there again , i would recommend the Rolling Hills hotel to my best dearest friends and family, Great Job to Niki the manager and staff, Sincerely Eddie

I Loved everything

We've stayed several times in the last 3 1/ 2 years, and I like that each time there are noticable improvements and upgrades.

I'm not crazy that smoking is allowed just outside the rooms. The smoke and smells carry across the entire area, especially if the wind is blowing. A designated smoking area would be nice to see.

The rooms were very clean and comfy. Niki and her family were all so nice and she really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Wasn't really sure what to expect and we were very pleasantly surprised!

The motel kind of sneaks up on you from both directions but nothing you can do about that.

The room had a lot of space, you could have had four people in your party and you would still have enough room to move around. There was also some nice space in the bathroom. Even though it's near the road, the area was nice and quiet.

Don't really have much to say. But if you have problems getting up the stairs or are physically handicapped, call the motel and ask them about giving you a room on the first floor/ground level.

What a surprise! We are road-tripping and ended up in the Rolling Hills Motel in NJ. We could not have ask for anything better. We had a King Room and we expected the usual under-value run-down motel room. BUT Rolling Hills Motel was AWESOME: the room felt like a home away from home with nicely smelling towels, a nice variety of shampoo, soap, conditioner, and even lotion, a really comfortable bed with nice linen and a pretty duvet. There was a table and two chairs with seat cusion, a TV with Netflix, two pot plants (which made it really homey). Nicki welcomed us with a warmth you do rarely get to experience when staying in motels. Everything was spotlessly clean. Please, please, please keep up the good work; and please guests, appreciate the work Nicki and her team are putting into their motel. It is a real gem among all those motels in the USA (and we have travelled a LOT!).

All exceeded our expectations!

We loved everything except for the door and curtains

There was no top lock on the door like other motels/hotels. Plus their was no bolt lock to make the room feel safe and secure since their wasn't a top lock. Also the curtains seemed see through which again, I felt not totally comfortable and safe. My wife slept great through regardless.

Large room, sufficiently clean (not perfect, but sufficient), little things like shower gel, shampoo etc. and fluffy towels, comfortable bed, nice receptionist. Very good value for money.

The shower is hard to regulate, there was loud talking and partying in the upstairs room until late at night, the window in the room could not be opened because someone was smoking weed right in front of it. I have nothing against weed, but it doesn't have to be in my bedroom. I also found it irritating that there was no possibility to make a coffee in the morning.

The location was just perfect for the places I planned to visit. The check in was smooth and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

While I feel safe in my stay, the main window in my room didn't have a working lock. Not an issue since I always carry safety locks, if it would be an issue for you, consider getting a couple of sliding windows safety locks.

Staff was amazingly friendly, with plenty of walking area for my large dogs on the property. The room was very spacious & even "homey" feeling with the decorations and amenities.

The room upon entry smelled heavily of cleaning products & room Sprays. As a holistic person, this was a hard adjustment. The bed wasn't comfortable and it stayed pretty cold in the room for a high 40° rainy day & night not having a thermostat to control comfort wasn't ideal.
