The inn was very very clean, beds were great, loys of pillows, and the owner went above and beyond to help us as my ftiend and I are disabled! We ordered takeout at a l9cal restaurant who delivered to the inn, food was wonderful but it came with no utensils. We called and asked at the desk of the Inn if they had any plastic forks or knives.The owner came down to the room with them herself so we didn't have to walk up to get them! She also saw me struggling with all the bags when we checked in, as my friend couldn't help me at all. She came and helped me herself! The location wasn't great for us, but it wasn't the fault of the inn, the things I had booked were far away, but it was my mistake! As far as the area, its beautiful and Milford has cute shops and lots of eateries within the town....lots of farmers markets and historic things to look at and tour. Thank you to the Scottish Inn for making our stay so comfortable!

Scottish Inns is a very well kept motel with some hotel touches such as coffee machine, microwave and good sized fridge. It was extremely accessible, convenient to everywhere - central Milford, the highway, the commercial zone and in particular to the Village Diner. The diner is literally right next door and has great food, American and Greek. Scottish Inns also had the dark curtains to enable folks to sleep I, which we very much needed to after a long drive. All in all, our stay at Scottish Inns was excellent.

There was nothing we did not like, bit note if you are sound sensitive, keep the front window closed.

The staff were very personable and welcoming; the heater in the bathroom was an amazing feature; the bed was very comfortable; the microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker were all immaculate. For that matter, the entire room was immaculate: the floors, bedding, shower and counter space!

I would have liked a spare blanket in the room, and would have liked more snack options in the main office.

The bathroom was bigger than many other hotel rooms I have stayed in! Plenty of hot water for a shower and pristine white towels. I liked having a microwave and frig in the room. The bed was comfortable. When I had trouble turning the TV on, help was available within minutes and the problem was solved quickly. The room was immaculately clean.

The door had a bolt lock, but I wish it had a third lock like a chain/bar lock.

All the cleanliness awards really put me at ease! I also liked how small and personal everything felt and that she was selling waters at the counter for only a dollar!! It was very convenient.

The whole place seemed a bit old and the doors were swelling in the heat which made them difficult to open but other than that it was good!

We drive across the country from our home near Dallas to northeast Maine. This area is one of the stops we make. We have stayed at this Scottish Inn many times. While it is an older motel, it is updated, clean, and quiet. It is very convenient to I-84 as well as restaurants and shops in Milford. The Village Diner next door is a perfect location for breakfast. It is everything we need for a one-night stop.

Very comfortable bed, large bathroom, shower had a handy grab bar and shelves for soap/shampoo, convenient parking just outside the door, reasonable price compared with other area lodging. Anna at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Lots of traffic noise, only one nightstand, low shower pressure, there was a luggage rack but otherwise no surface area to set luggage except on the desk, which defeats the purpose of having a desk. This hotel continues the outdated practice of putting a decorative pillow on the bed, which is unsanitary as they’re not washed between each guest. Almost all hotels have stopped doing this and this one should too. Despite these issues, our overall stay was good.

My wife was looking up hotels because we would be traveling to the area and found Scottish Inns.we booked at Milford, N.Y. On our Trip we actually passed one of your locations in the Baltimore, Maryland area so we kinda had a idea on what to expect of at least the overall look of the hotel in Milford . Rooms was better then expected and the rate was better then expected, very reasonable , I would rate this Scottish Inn with 4 1/2 stars.

Although the motel faces a busy highway the room is actually rather quiet- until our neighbors came in at close to midnight and we could hear every (loudly spoken) word. But what can you do about neighbors? Overall the room was up to date with a fridge and wifi, was clean and spacious, temp easy to control. We would stay again. Thank you!

The lady at office was very attentive. When I left my charger cable behind, she called to inform me. The room was very clean and cozy, the bed very comfortable. Even though it was just one night, I enjoyed the stay.

The hot water from shower came on very slowly, so be patient. The window heater was a bit noisy. If you are a light sleeper, may consider to bring ear plugs.
