I booked last minute for a one night stay. The front desk was incredibly welcoming, friendly, patient and helpful. I checked in within minutes. They provided all the information on the room location and breakfast for the morning. The room was modern, very clean, the bathroom toiletries were provided; shampoo, conditioner, body wash and they were in squeeze bottles on the wall which was awesome. I didn’t have to use and waste more trash with individual little soaps that dry your skin out and are horrible. The soap was pleasantly refreshing and I felt super clean and not like the Sahara desert afterwards. The bed was comfortable, the pillow for my personal preference weee way too soft. I prefer memory foam and or a firmer pillow even if it’s down. I stacked two together to sleep. The sheets were on the thinner side so it was super cozy but for what I needed it (literally crash from a long day at work) it did the job right, There was some noise from the floor above, it didn’t have too much sound proofing in that regard and I could hear what seemed like a rhino running around and some music but they eventually shut up and went to bed. Other than that quick noise it was super quiet and peaceful. I didn’t hear any traffic noise (road is somewhat busy with thru traffic during the day) but at night. Perfection I think the hotel is perfect for solo travelers, couples, friends, business travelers. They have tons of amenities and an awesome gym I didn’t use, but it’s there for the taking.

The hotel itself is nice. The room was very clean. Every single staff member I interacted with was very kind. They were all very helpful and understanding. When I arrived at Newark at 9pm I ran into issues with my car rental which caused me to get to the hotel until 3am. I kept communication with the hotel staff the whole time and they were very understanding and held my reservation until I was able to get there. Upon arrival they made the check in as easy as possible and gave me some Lindt chocolate (my favorite). They made my night better after the mess I went through with the car rental company. Every area I visited in the hotel (gym, lobby, breakfast area) was clean.

Not a big deal but they need a bit more variety for breakfast. Also, they don't have a pool, which it's not needed but preferred (because I always travel with my kids) but I understand the maintenance and liability is probably the reason why most hotels don't have them nowadays.

Over all the facilities are great, modern and comfortable! I was very impressed with how clean the lobby is kept. Totally recommend to all who travel to this area. Breakfast was outstanding. Variety of hot items and well stocked every morning. Location is perfect. Accessible to highways, stores, restaurants, Walmart, Starbucks etc Front desk staff did a great job throughout our entire stay, very accommodating to our group needs.

Cleaning staff was friendly when we would see them in hallway, but one thing we did struggle with was the fact that neither one of our 3 rooms got our trash taken out nor towels replenished. Not sure if maybe they were short staffed in the housecleaning department. We had to ask front desk for extra towels during our 4 night stay. Which we didn't mind at all, just the trash piled up in our rooms.

The whole atmosphere is welcoming. I come to see my mom monthly and it's so close to nursing home. Loved the refillable bottled water station

There is no micro wave in the room, but I guess there is a reason for that.Still, they have one at the reception desk.

The hotel room was very clean, the hotel overall had an inviting environment. I liked the gym, breakfast, ease of checking in and out, the available toiletries, and I felt relaxed after my stay. The 12pm checkout is also a Huge plus! Staff were friendly too.

I wish there was like a trail to walk around outside the hotel but otherwise the hotel was relaxing.

It was clean, modern, quiet. There is plenty of snacks to purchase in the lobby.

It was perfect for my needs however if you are a light sleeper one of the nights you could hear the Speedway nearby. This wasn’t an issue for me though - something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper though. Also the walls are quite thin, you can hear what’s going on in other rooms and when people above you are walking. (Wasn’t an issue for me but might be something to consider if that’s an issue for you).

The property was clean, staff were pleasant. We were pleased with our stay.

The room was on the smaller size for 2 adults and 2 kids but other than that there is nothing else I’d say negative about the hotel.

The place was easily located, clean, and modern. It was bare bones as I guess that is the theme for this chain. It was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip, but not the best. Is it the NY taxes?

The breakfast was not very good. We stayed in a comfort inn the night before, and their breakfast was far better.

Unfortunately, we were so tired, we slept past breakfast. However, my family and I were really pleased our room. It was exceptionally clean and spacious...we loved it! We look forward to using TRU by Hilton in our future traveling. Oh yes, the staff made us feel very welcomed. Thank you!

The only thing I disappointed in for the sake of my grandchildren was the lack of a pool.

Victor who checked me in was very kind and helpful. We forgot my daughter’s favorite cup when we checked out and I called a few hours later asking if it was found. He personally went to go look for it and found it for us. Breakfast was kind of boring and not many options for hot food. The room could use at least 1 small closet to put thing out of sight
