We have been coming here for the past 5 years. The hosts are always friendly, accomodating, and address any needs. They are very caring of the property and they are always updating and making improvements, both inside the rooms and outside. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and well lit. The air conditioning and TV worked well. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Shower worked well. The grounds are well kept and great to walk around and get some excercise. Lots of seating and barbeque grill if you would like to eat outside. We love sitting on the front porches when we stay there. Lots of great stores and restaurants in nearby Milford and Matamoras.

We loved everything and look forward to coming back!

The room was very large and spacious, with comfortable beds, a desk, a sitting area with two chairs inside, and a front porch with two chairs outside. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. It appeared that the entire room, including the bathroom, was recently remodeled and updated. The property definitely had a nice "country" charm. I would definitely stay again at this property.

The room was cooled by an older model window type air conditioner which did not seem to be up to task of adequatly cooling the room on a hot/humid day (it was in the 90's the day I visited).

Forget cookie-cutter motels next to the highway. This was a much better place to break my drive from Massachusetts to Virginia. The little cabins are straight out of an earlier era, with real colored towels and sheets that look like ones you'd get at your grandmother's house. So cozy and homey. The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was good. The woman at reception was friendly. And although it's small, Milford has plenty of good restaurants to choose from.

The shower curtain is made of light, thin fabric that blows in far across the tub and sticks to you. This could be solved by putting in a curved shower curtain rod (such as many motels have) or using a heavier shower curtain.

Everyone was kind, thoughtful, attentive and friendly. I usually prefer more seclusion (i live in a very rural area). The setting here was very nice, tho, with some trees and a big grassy area to provide distance from the cabins across the way. Our next door neighbors were very friendly and the fact that they have been coming here for 20 years speaks volumes about consistent good maintenance and management.

I didn't like the smell of cleaning products when i first opened the door but cross ventilation brought in fresh air quickly and i did appreciate how completely clean the place was!

I booked this room at the last minutes as I was traveling thru that area. When I got here, it was after hours and the lady who came to the desk to check me in could not have been nicer and I enjoyed talking with her. She checked me in and showed me on a map where my room was. At this point, I realized it was like a small cottage and when I drove up to mine, I was pleasantly surprised. Once inside I liked the decor of the room and knew I'd found a hidden gem. The bed was very comfortable, and as I was just looking for a place to sleep, this motel more than met my needs and expectations. If i ever need a room in this area again, I know where it will be at.

we have been coming here for 4 years. It is always a pleasure to stay here. The hosts are very friendly, accomodating, and address any concerns we may have. Even though the cottages have been around for over 75 years, they are always being updated (ours had new wood flooring). It is very roomy with lots of storage space. Clean and safe bathrooms, Comfortable beds, Nice property to sit outside on the front porch. Quiet grounds with lots of trees, great location to the town of Milford and lots of great restaraunts and shops.

wish we could have our own microwave in room. would like bigger pillows for beds.

Where should I begin?!! This was the most delightful place we've ever stayed at! This isn't a motel. This is like staying with family. Each "room" is actually a little cottage complete with a front porch to relax on. The personal touches from the linens to the decorations made it feel so homey. A fresh new paint and a new bathroom. And clean!!! Oh wow, how clean. We had been camping for 2 weeks. I finally got a good night sleep in the oh so comfortable bed and the quiet.

That we couldn't stay a few days.

The couple that own the motel are very kind and hospitable. The entire place is just beautiful! There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, fresh air, and its right alongside the Delaware River! 11/10!

We could have used 2 additional pillows on the bed, but that's no big deal.

We stayed in a couple different areas on our trip to the Pocono Mountains. This was the only place I didn’t want to leave. It was so peaceful and relaxing. This was, by far, the cleanest place I’ve stayed in a very long time. They use Gain, y’all and not the usual funny smelling hotel detergent lol. I felt like I was at home, it was so pleasant! I would definitely stay again if ever in the area. It’s not fancy, just perfect!!

Really didn't expect what we drove into....but Myer Country Motel is precisely what it says it is . It consists of several home units, like old fashioned motels people used to take their families to in the country to spend a weekend swimming, biking, hiking...it has a big green in the middle of the collection of little cabins which are homey- decor, furniture, old style bed spreads like People in their 50s/70s would remember from their childhood. TV, refrigerator, coffee maker & microwave -all things that most motels have,but these little 'cabins" +very nice. The lady who greeted us was very personable & was enjoying teaching her son some of the 'arts of hospitality - our stay was very pleasant

Bed was a little soft and could of used a few more pillows.
