There was a fridge & microwave in the room. Restaurants were relatively close (about a mile or so). There was a meager breakfast (ie, 2 types of cereal, english muffins, bread to make toast, bananas, coffee & tea). The motel is right off of the interstate. It’s a good option for the price.

My room did NOT have a smoke detector, which really surprised me. I was not aware that a hotel/motel could operate without smoke detectors in all rooms.

For the price we paid, this was a 5-star experience. We were a bit worried after reading previous reviews, but it turns out we had nothing to worry about - the room was large, clean, everything worked - microwave, mini-fridge, wifi, tv. The bed was really comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower. The breakfast was fine also - coffee, instant oatmeal, cereal, fruit, bagels and english muffins. The lobby area and outside were well-taken care of, lots of exterior lighting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For an overnight stay on a long roadtrip, it was perfect - we will be stopping here again on our next drive to Richmond!

This is meant as an FYI, not necessarily something we didn't like - if you want fast food, snacks, or groceries before checking in, stop at the Roanoke Rapids exit just three miles, 5 minutes drive away (like we did) to stock up, there is a Shell gas station next to this hotel but everything else involves a drive into the small town of Garysburg, they roll up the sidewalks at 6 PM!

I like the convenience to the access to the highway. I like the restaurant that is located next to the property. Also liked the complimentary breakfast provided in the lobby.

I asked for no stairs. The front desk lady said that the room she was giving me had no stairs. However, when we drove around to the room, there were stairs. :-(

Good price for the area and only 1 exit up from the more expensive places. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was comfortable and included a mini fridge. It’s a Super 8, not a Hilton, but it’s clean, comfortable, quiet. A pleasant place to stay a couple of nights when visiting the area.

Right next to highway, very convenient location. Clean room, comfy bed. Easy and fast check in/check out. Yes, you can hear the traffic, and no, it does not bother once you fall asleep - it’s not louder than anywhere in a bigger city - it was a pleasant stop on our roadtrip.

Staff was professional and courteous. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The floor was a little dirty. I only know because I spilled water on the floor and cleaned it up with a washcloth. I always wear shoes in hotel rooms. It is definitely a great place to stay.

We were able to park right in front of our room. No hauling up to a 2nd floor or being stuck inside a building. We don't like hotels.

Maybe a place to sit outside while you have a bite to eat.

Easy reservation and sign in. Room floor level handicap accessible as requested. Bedding and towels clean. Soap and shampoo provided. Great TV. Great A/C.

Breakfast was indicated in the ad. Actually highlighted in red print. When I inquired (after paying) was told not provided because of COVID. Really! Chose this accommodation and paid extra because breakfast was provided. Poor form guys! Take this out of your ad! When traveling with a person with limitations eating out is not always an option. Was looking forward to your little lobby breakfast as advertised. Also, not such a big deal, was floor not clean and some kind of sticky residue all over soap dish in shower. Cleaned it up. Really minor little thing compared to the breakfast thing. Sorry to go on and on. Traveling is not my thing. Thanks.

Location was ok….quiet

Nothing was close by. No pool. The breakfast was very disappointing. The coffee was horrible. Rooms smelled “stale”

The location was great right off the highway and right next to a gas station. Perfect for a one night stay.

The room seemed a bit dark but other than that everything else was great.
