1. The room curtains were a real "duh: why doesn't anyone else do this? It was a shaded blind for day and a thicker blind at night. BUT THE BLIND WAS CUT FOR THE EXACT SIZE OF THE WINDOW! In other words, it didn't fall all the way down and cover up the AC/Heat unit!!! 2. There were PLENTY of electrical outlets. Geez, another "duh" to the other hotels. 3. "Fairfield said let there be light. And there was an abundance of light in this room." 4. Location, Location, Location. 5. Employees were professional and helpful.

Why can't a hotel cater to cigar smokers (or any smoker, I guess) with covered smoking area? A gazebo with ashtrays? Hey: charge us $5 more (heated and cooled to a certain degree and charge us $25/day more!

I live about an hour and a half from Statesville, so when I have an early-morning event, I always choose this location. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. One quick example of this is when I arrived on my last trip, a family with 3 kids was there and the kids were VERY rowdy - like throwing pillows around and stuff like that. One receptionist helped the mom gather the kids while the other receptionist checked the family in. As a mom of 3 boys, I know how overwhelmed that mom was, and I was SO happy to see the Fairfield team jump into action in that way! I always order Uber Eats or Door Dash and have never had an issue with the staff letting them deliver directly to my room. The beds are so comfortable that I almost want to buy one of the mattresses and bed frames for my house! I'm planning on coming back for a getaway in the next few weeks!

I have never been fond of hotel breakfasts because I can't eat many foods (wheat, tomatoes, melons, etc.). I typically get breakfast out or order in. This time, I tried the scrambled eggs because no boiled eggs were available and they tasted powdery - that didn't align with my preferences! I was glad that there was a good selection of fruit available, which was plenty breakfast for me that morning. I also appreciate the selection of teas they had on this particular morning. If I could suggest anything, it would be to have more protein-types of foods and whole foods rather than processed items in addition to some un-sweetened/non-dairy options for milk substitutes.

EVERYTHING!!! Food changes slightly every day, super fresh fruit (only early in the am). NOTHING tasted bad. Plenty of coffee, tea, HOT CHOCOLATE, with toppings such as caramel, marshmallows, chocolate. LOVED IT!! Everything was so clean and welcoming. One day we woke up and they had fresh cookies AFTER breakfast. Wonderful shower pressure. Good enough for back massage after LONG ride in. Staff allowed us an early check in after a long 14hour drive in. He remembered us and checked on us as we left that afternoon. Sooo kind. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and the last time was just as good as this time.

The night staff was hilarious and made check in a pleasure. I have a Marriott BonVoy card but left it at home. The staff diligently looked for my information or my husband's but with no luck. They were so cooperative. Breakfast offerings were generous and varied. The attendant was consistently checking supplies and wiping counters. I asked him for something and he responded immediately. Our bed was comfortable and bath towels was abundant. No complaints at all, just compliments!

Different grade of toilet paper. The Angel Soft Professional seems to be consistent choice of all hotels and motels. It is not soft and is single ply. It just doesn't compare to my Charmin at home. !

This is an excellent hotel with very clean rooms, a breakfast with a wide variety, and a location that is close to shopping and restaurants. The attendants at breakfast were very attentive and helpful over the weekend. My friend has mobility issues and an attendant offered to make her a waffle and deliver it to our table. It made her day.

Both of us love coffee and being able to grab a cup in the lobby of any hotel is a bonus. The coffee was great in the morning, but not on offer after breakfast hours. The dispensers were either empty or had cold coffee in them. A small issue though.

The pool was refreshing and clean. The lobby was nice, staff was nice. They had a great breakfast selection. Room was very comfortable and clean.

A lot of wasps near and around the pool. But I realize they can’t do anything about that, overall great place

The location was on our route home. The breakfast was good, and the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was updated, clean, and very comfortable. They even had a little treat for mothers on Mother's Day upon check in. What a delightful and kind gesture.

There was not anything I would improve upon

The hotel is not only aesthetically beautiful, but it is quiet, clean, and near restaurants, shopping and two major interstates. The staff there is friendly, and the rooms are clean. My friend and I are frequent visitors, and we consider it to be a soothing oasis from a long week of hard work.

It seems as though when a particular breakfast attendant is on duty, all we get is eggs -- no meat. Vegans or vegetarians, which I am not, would probably be happy with that choice, but I like meat with my breakfast meal.

Travelling back home from 2 weeks down south so this was the half point for us. Got in late but we really enjoyed our stay. Bed was soooo comfortable. Room was clean. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Comfortable beds, very clean, and easy breakfast to get a coffee yogurt and an English muffin!

Thanksgiving visit with family. Greeted by Aaron when we arrived. Friendly and personable. Helpful. Enjoyed the festive decorations in the lobby. The cocoa bar is a great idea! Husband enjoyed the breakfast offerings. This was the second year In a row that we chose the Fairfield. It is about 5 minutes from my brother's home. It will be our preferred choice of lodging in Statesville. Thank you and Happy Holidays!
