I usually travel with just my wife (in our 60's), but this time was taking my mother & sister to visit other family from FL to VT, so I booked larger rooms than usual. I spoke with the manager and this particular Hawthorne was newly-renovated (ongoing). We had a suite for 3 older family members total, one 2-queen bedroom and 2 pull-out couches in living room/kitchen area that was as large as the bedroom. Breakfast was medium - waffles, cereal & pastries; not the spread we had gotten used to but sufficient to keep you from leaving hungry. Room had a full kitchen including dishes, cookware & silverwear, and a large coin guest laundry room on the 1st floor with 3 or 4 pairs of washer/dryers that all looked brand new. Hawthorne Extended Stay was new to me but I see they have 97 hotels all around the USA. Will definitely look for them again, our room was one of the nicest and least expensive on our 10-day trip up and down the eastern coast. Location was very busy right next to the interstate so traffic noise might be an issue for some but I'm a heavy sleeper and didn't notice. Having a 2-room suite with extra room and a TV for each room makes even a one-night stay much more comfortable. Definitely would recommend.

They are great! The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful—especially Dell and another lady whose name I unfortunately don’t know. I had an issue with my trailer, and they both left the front desk to assist me for over 20 minutes. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed at the Quenn studio and it is really nice and big , compare to all hotels in Chambersburg. The front desk people are so nice and helpful. Hotel is new and great location. Really recommend the hotel!

I love that the room I was in had a stove, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator. The front desk was very accommodating too. The room felt like a little slice of home.

There wasn’t any proteins other than eggs during the continental breakfast. It might be just a “that day” thing, but that’s the only thing I wasn’t a fan of.

Stayed in suites for one night , it’s very clean, spacious everything was great.worth it for the night.

The refrigerator should be placed somewhere else in the kitchen as it’s blocking the light switch of that area.

Everything was in good condition and clean.

The front door was hard to locate. It needs to have bolder signage. Breakfast selection was very minimal, but it was sufficient.
