The location right off I-24 was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was large with a great king-sized bed, an extra wet-bar-type sink outside the bathroom, a coffee maker, a small fridge (no freezer section), and an easy-to-operate TV (not always the case in some hotels). One thing that stood out from several places I've stayed at before was the spacious feeling the room had, which was likely due to the high ceilings. Some hotels have low, confining ceilings, but these were quite high. (I was on the first floor. I don't know what the 2nd-floor rooms are like.) The hot breakfast was good and filling. Scrambled (powdered) eggs, two types of sausage, waffles, cereals, coffees and teas...There were other things too, but I only paid attention to what I like! I'm sure there were muffins, yogurts and the like - not sure about bread... I don't remember a toaster...But I wasn't looking for one, and I wasn't looking for bread.

Ran out of some breakfast items late in the week. They were at capaciity all week because of convention and apparently didn't increase supply order enough to account for the extra people. Room service was awesome, but desk clerk made a mistake that has caused me to have to cancel credit card and have to deal with hassle with Booking.com

No elevator and lack of breakfast items towards end of stay

Everything but the bed and lights from outside at night. The staff was awesome, and we totally loved the breakfast!!! Full breakfast, including making your own waffles!!!!

The bed was comfortable at first, but we woke up during the night sore and had trouble sleeping and getting comfortable after that. We felt like we were sleeping on the springs. The room was not very dark at night due to the lights shining in from the parking lot around the curtains. Other than that we were satisfied with our stay!

They provided a free breakfast but it was just fair. Might be considered good but I’m really picky and don’t like prepackaged pastries, packaged hard boiled egg…

Very affordable. Great value for the money. Nicely renovated and clean guest room with fresh linen and pillows. Super friendly staff. The hot breakfast was very good, all the usual and tasty items: eggs, cheese, sausage links, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, coffee. Only no bananas—as I recall. Macdonald’s across the parking lot, and connected to a service station, Sonic is a stone’s throw away, and Waffle House is on the other side of the highway, also Subway and Hardee’s.

There is no shower wall-mounted shampoo/conditioner/body soap dispenser, just the one-ounce size, so bring your own. The scenery is average, but doesn’t matter if it’s a one-night travel stop-over. It’s a budget hotel, so no elevators to the second floor. But that’s informational, not a complaint. We enjoyed the stay and WILL stop at the midway point on my return.

Your staff at this establishment is outstanding! Especially your night clerk at the front desk was extremely helpful in getting our TV operational . Breakfast was superb and a great way to start the day. Keep up the good work!

What’s not to like at these accommodations?

Arrived late in evening as travelling. Receptionist was cheerful, helpful and lounge area felt very friendly with seasonal decorations. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was hot or cold choices and well stocked. Will stay again.

First the cleanliness was top notch. The breakfast was more then good and the staff was so friendly and defines Souther Hospitality. This place is the perfect stop if you are traveling north or south. Can't say enough good things about the property or staff. Thanks for a great stay.

Very clean and smells good in the lobby! Front desk staff were super nice. Rooms were clean. I would absolutely stay here again!

There weren't many breakfast options, but they had enough to get us on the road and hold us over while we drove!

Every staff member we encountered was so nice! Our room was comfortable and just perfect for us.

The hot water in the shower wasn't very hot and the shower curtain was way to long in the shower. The people upstairs were so loud all the time! But I think that's just lack of courtesy that seems to be common now.
