Was recently totally renovated with renovations ongoing. New vinyl flooring, paint, and new wall hangings. New colorful frig and microwave with large screen tv with multiple viewing choices. Great AC unit and a large wall fan. Comfortable king bed in a spacious room. Newly colorful renovations outside as well. Limited places to eat, but food was good at Tia's Fish Camp and PHO and More.

Sofa needs to be replaced-dirty cushions. No kleenex and no coffeemaker. Need better room service. Large pool was closed for treatment.

This historic beach property didn’t just get a facelift, it got a beautiful full body makeover inside and out. Our room had wood look plank flooring (great for a beach hotel), granite bath surround, spotless tub, and all fixtures and linens appeared new. The fridge and microwave were a bonus and cute retro style. We slept very comfortably. The front office has snacks and drinks to purchase and the front desk personnel were very nice and friendly. The desk is open 24 hours for late check-ins which was most appreciated after leaving Mardi Gras in Galveston. The murals on the outside of the hotel are really nice and make it look inviting. Everything was 10/10 for us.

There was no breakfast, only coffee machine. But I was aware of this when booking rules at check-in we went to make sure the room was to our satisfaction and cool for when we return from the beach. It was totally to our satisfaction. Nice and cool, clean, comfortable and the pool was a big hit with the kids a large clean 3 foot to 9 foot pool. Covered seating areas with tables and chairs. Chaise lounge chairs all around the pool and one barbecue pit. Also pool stays open late so once you leave the beach, clean up and go eat, you still have plenty of time to swim. We will return absolutely a great trip.😍

Including Breakfast at least continental would be nice, but complementary coffee in office was appreciated.

Clean had a fan and ac worked

Need a designated pet area for walking, the grass in the back is way too tall for miniature animals, my mini Dachshund gets lost in it, so we are forced to use the sloped grassy area, if there was a designated area for pets they could place a pet box for potty bags and a garbage container for it. I saw someone let their large Dalmatian poop on the lawn out front and they didn't clean it up. I do, people who have pets should clean up after them.

I liked the location. It was easy to get to places around the Crystal Beach area and spot the resort at nighttime. Quiet and reasonable amenities for the cost. I'd recommend the place for deciding if Crystal Beach is the place for your next longer vacation or event.

Nothing seems dislikable. One of the lamps was on a table that had no outlet nearby, which was confusing at first. Otherwise it was fine.

It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The room had a good-sized fridge plus a freezer as well as a microwave. There was coffee in the lobby. The staff were friendly, and I could tell they work hard (since the rooms and the lobby were so clean). The staff recommended places to eat nearby.

I wish there was a small closet in the room. There is plenty of space for one near the front door of the room or where the towels are near the bathroom.

The property was nice. The people were really nice. We had a person that was in a wheelchair and when we got there, the door had a lip on it where his chair could not get in so the owner went made a homemade ramp so he can get into the room, they went out of their way to help. Would recommend this place to anyone I know in anyone I don’t know.

Nothing I loved it. It was nice and right down the street from the beach like two blocks.

The staff (Debbie) was great and friendly. We got to town earlier than check in and she was able to get the rooms (3) cleaned ASAP and we were able to check in when we arrived. We were there for a family wedding at Crystal Beach. Room was cool with good ac and a fan on the wall loved it.

The room was very clean. Staff was super friendly and very informative when we asked questions about the area. This was an older place that is being renovated. I would stay here again due to location, price and the cleanliness.

The bed was a little hard and the pillows were flat. - But, nothing we couldn't handle. I just forgot my own pillow at home. I will bring my own next time.

Convenient and good value. Pleasantly surprised !

Overall it was very good. I would have enjoyed having a coffee pot in the room. The bedspread was overly worn and needs to be replaced, and there was no stopper in the tub to enjoy a bath. You might provide a broom & dustpan for those of us who don’t mind sweeping up the sand we bring inside. Aside from these easy-to-fix details, our short stay was very pleasant!
