It was so close to the cruise port, main road of attractions, and we could park our car during our cruise!

Good location. We only spent a night there and the room was very good. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Elevator wasn’t working when we were there but it was no big deal getting to the second floor

Only one staff member when we arrived. I imagine it can get frustrating to wait when many people need something from the front desk… Also, when I went to purchase Tylenol from the front desk at 3am in the morning coz my friend had a headache, they only took cash. It was a bit inconvenient. But good thing my friend had cash available

We checked in, staff was great, room was nice, water pressure from shower was good. Breakfast was ready on time, was hot and plenty, lots of choices. Pool was clean and refreshing. We ordered pizza, they brought it to our room.Good parking was available different times of the day and night.

The ONLY complaint I will give, is they provided guest laundry facility, front desk sold laundry detergent, but couldn't provide quarters. I drove to Walgreens to ask for quarters, I washed a load for $3.25, and I dried my load for $2.00, The dryer didn't dry my clothes, I put another $2.00, clothes still wet. I just ended up hanging them in my room, didn't want to drive to Walgreens to ask for more quarters , when I already tried 2 times and lost $4.00.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.

The only real issue I ran into was that the little commissary at the front desk was cash only, but did not have enough cash to even break a $20. This was not the fault of the night worker, but of the management. I understand not wanting to have a lot of cash on hand in case of theft, but having so little that you can't make $15 change is absurd. The only other mild complaint was that the only light in the bathroom comes from the mirror light, which wasn't very bright, but enough to make due.

The location was excellent. It was within walking distance of the beach (about 10 minutes or so). The service was excellent, Elizabeth was the receptionist when we checked in and was helpful in informing us that they offered free parking for those going on a cruise! We hadn't known that when we booked it initially but we took advantage of the offer and returned 5 days later to get our car. It was safe, albeit a bit dusty (can't be helped!) They were even nice enough to offer us breakfast on our return though we didn't partake. We would book again considering how close their location was to our cruise port and how exceptional the service was! The only downside I have, which is less of a downside and just an observation, is how small the location is, and how small the breakfast area was, but that doesn't mean it's lacking. Though the elevator was indeed very small.

The hotel was clean, quiet, welcoming and easy to find. It’s just a few steps from Stewart Beach (which is normally the best place to get the beach experience in Galveston as most of the Seawall has limited areas of sand). If you want to get a good view of the ocean, you’ll only find it on one side of the building in the upper third (maybe second) floors so make sure to ask for those rooms. Personally, I didn’t care which way I was facing because I was looking forward to sleep! Which I did. Amazingly so! The beds in my particular room were fantastic. Legit. I would brought them home with me! Honestly, what is it about hotel room beds that make my own mattress pale? Anyway! My room was cleeeeean! Bathroom was huge and the hallway was quiet. There’s a mini fridge, a microwave and a single cup coffee pot in the room. Enough charging points to charge a family of fours devices and four pillows on each of the beds. (I had to queens) I can’t think of any…. Oh! The breakfast! It was the common hotel breakfast. They had some eggs and sausage, toast, bagels, cereals, muffins and a Texas shaped waffle maker. Is the waffle maker the shape of each state the BW is in or is that just a Texas thing? Curious minds need to know! Breakfast is good for a quick pick me up before heading out. It’s not a banquet and it’s not meant to be. The staff work hard enough as is than to provide a five star restaurant option in the lobby! So don’t expect fancy, but it was just enough to get us back on the road and heading to our next stop. All in all - great stay. If I ever come back to Galveston, I’ll look up availability for sure!

Very clean. Good breakfast.

Carpet in bedroom was lumpy. Should probably switch out to tile. More sanitary. Small shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles and not nearly enough. Should go to large refillable bottles like other hotels have done. Cable channels not very good. Too many infomercials and not enough good family shows or local channels.

The location was perfect. The front desk associate at check-in was amazing. I would stay here on my next trip and recommend it to others. Love the vehicle can stay if you are cruising.

I didn't like the room view being the hotel sign, especially since the window faced the beach. But with only a 1 night stay, it was ok Someone had to stay in it.

The walls are very thin. You could hear people talking as they passed the room, and there was a kid that played upstairs our entire stay. The elevator is very small. Breakfast was decent. The hotel was a little pricey to be so far from the main beach.
