First, I understand this is a 2-star motel. However, it's probably the cleanest and best 2-star I have stayed at, factor in the affordable room rate and I give it 5 stars. I chose this place because of a family member in the local hospital and needed a cheap place. However, if I were to come back to Galveston, I would stay here. Affordable room, by the beach, allows me to enjoy the other amenities and food of Galveston TX. It is your basic room, 2 bed, bath, etc. Very comfortable sleeping. The pillows were decent, however, I always travel with mine. Quiet, and friendly staff. I checked in late and the young lady was very nice. However, I always try to say hi first and acknowledge them by name. So many travelers are rude and they wonder why the staff is "mean". Morning checkout was easy. They have a very very basic muffin/coffee available. However, keep in mind the affordable room rate. I wouldn't expect a Best Western breakfast. The views are excellent and the ocean breeze greets you when you step outside.

Cleanliness, number one thing in this hotel. Was just that! The room were impeccably clean. Kudos to the cleaning crew. The front desk was extremely helpful and kind. We had an ocean view from our window and we had a dining table with chairs in our room. Normally you don't get that in such a smaller hotel space Which allowed us to eat In our room, if we chose to. This hotel is in the middle of all the action on the seawall. Whether we wanted go shopping or a restaurant. Or ride the trolley, we were within walking distance of everything. Excellent, on the hotel price. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra day.

The hotel was right across the street from the beach we had a beach view from our room. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. The air conditioner was already on when we got there so it was not too hot in the room. The desk staff was ok. The housekeeping staff were very nice.

The pool was closed when we arrived because it had rained earlier that day. The sun was shining and it was not raining when we arrived. The breakfast was not much. They only had 5 or 6 quarter size cinnamon rolls and 5 or 6 small muffins for breakfast to last for all guests from 1 hour.

This is an older motel that has been remodeled. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is coffee and pastries but we usually go out for breakfast. The rooms are equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. The location is within walking distance of restaurants, bars and Pleasure Pier.

The only downside is that the parking lot is small (not much they can do about that). We usually come during off season so it's not ever been a problem for us.

Very cheap and great for its price. Right in front of the beach, plenty of parking. Comfy bed and pillows.

Pool looked dirty both times I stayed here so I didn’t even wanted to get in. Towels were also very stained and often with somebody’s hair on it 🥲

The location was good and I enjoyed the fact that the front counter clerk, changed my room to a downstairs room because it’s too hard for me to get up and downstairs. She was very professional. Loved it because it was right across from the beach.

The bathroom needs to be redone. The shower was not in good condition and it took forever for the hot water to get hot.

Location. We have been staying here for 15 yrs. Minus the few when they were closed for remodel. Loving the extra parking and it's all lit up at night.

I don't like having to put a deposit down. When we started staying here all we had to do was put down was $10. for the TV remote. Got it back when we turned it back in. Lol

The location was close too everything and you can’t beat the view from your window ! The staff was super friendly . We didn’t try the breakfast due to time restraints but for the price you can’t beat the stay.

Like with every post the parking lot is SMALL and kinda like a game of Tetris . So unless you are only staying the night as a pass through point I strongly recommend just renting a golf cart during your stay just so you can insure you have a spot .

Inn room had a more modern/updated look, and was pretty clean. AC worked and I was not worried about food spoiling in the fridge. Shower had hot water too.

Breakfast was ok, a few more options would've been nice, like hot water, tea, oatmeal, but they had coffee and muffins so I was fine.

Very good place. Me and my daughters enjoyed the stay.

Parking was full. We didn't get basic information about the possibility of parking on the street. We didn't know we were allowed to park outside and WASTED a lot time trying to park when we came back from eating outside.
