Good location. On the beach. Great views. Free parking. Decent breakfast and good coffee. Comfy cool rooms. Walking distance to fishing pier, putt putt golf and restaurant.

A little outdated. Doors didn’t close well.

We were told wrong time for breakfast when we checked in, so barely got breakfast first day. When I said something to morning person at desk that day, response was that there was a sign with times on the door to breakfast. There was no PR, sorry that happened to you, etc. Microwave didn't heat well

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful and nice, and the parking was easily available close to the entrance doors for no additional charge. The breakfast selections were presented well and tasted good.

Location was great, the view from the balcony was great. Room was big, bed comfortable enough, liked having the keurig coffee machine and frigde. Parking was easy and free. Coffee station at the lobby.

AC was extremely noisy. Would have been nice to have a small table on the balcony. Housekeeping had to be asked for before noon and the one time we did we returned in the evening with nothing done. It was sorted after we requested fresh towels etc. The breakfast room is too small. On weekdays breakfast is served only until 9AM (Sat & Sun 9:30). We tried to find seating on our first morning and ended up heading back to our room with yoghurts and oj. Following mornings had breakfast on our balcony a la Kroger.

Everything was great! We have no complaints. Location was great and it’s a nice, very clean hotel. Great breakfast each morning and kids loved the pool and hot tub. Some reviews mentioned the rooms being dark or trouble with the ac but our ac was ice cold through out our whole stay and the lights were just right, there’s even several lamps through out the room. We enjoyed having the balcony window open! We always try out different hotels each time we visit Galveston and I really think we have found our go to place! You just cannot beat the price for what you get and the location. The staff was also VERY sweet! While we were there they were also getting in lots of new furniture. If you’re like me and read lots of reviews, I hope you see this one! 10/10 recommend and already planning our next trip.

A great location right across the street from the beach! Staff was excellent and accommodated an early check in when I arrived not feeling well. The room was large, clean and comfortable. No insects or pests. Housekeeping ran every day. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel. Turkey sausage, eggs, potatoes, real bacon, real muffins, toast, yogurt, cereal, real bagels, waffles, coffee and orange juice. And on Saturdays the serving time was 6:30am to 9:00am so no need to come down without brushing your teeth! Includes two outdoor pools right by the entrance, a workout room, vending machines. Hot coffee available all day in lower lobby.

Parking in front feels up quickly and the hotel seems to be a favorite with people going on cruises so expect a lot activity at unusual times. But everyone was nice and pleasant.

The room was very large. Loved the floor,no carpet because we spill alot. We appreciated having housekeeping,they made our bed every day and empty the trash cans. We only missed one day going to the pool because the temperature dropped,in the 7 days we were there. The view of the water was awesome from the balcony. We saw the beautiful sunrise and sunset,every day. It's very quiet and enjoyed coming back to the room and napping. Our vacation was to rested and relax,and that's what we done.

There was nothing wrong with this hotel. I wished we could have stayed longer.

Location! Right in front of a beautiful beach. Cleanliness! Friendliness from EVERY staff member,we were greeted by all. Breakfast! Staff continued to bring out hot bacon, eggs, and sausage and kept the area clean, and asked if everything was OK. We wanted to experience Mardis Gras in a family-friendly environment, and we were not disappointed! Wow! we had a great time!

At no fault of the hotel, but early in the morning as we slept, we heard repeated footsteps coming from upstairs, we assumed. It went on for at least a couple of hours.

After driving all night from Oakville MO, we arrived at 11:00 am, we went inside to use the restroom and then thought we would sleep in the car till 4:00 the check in time. Just by chance I asked the girl at the front desk what the earliest we could get a room, she radioed someone and said give us a half hour. We were in our room before noon and taking a much needed shower. I wanted to thank her and the cleaning staff for going above and beyond. If we ever take a cruise out of Galveston again we will definitely be staying here.
