I will never stay at another hotel in Goliad. Years ago, I did stay at another hotel; it was not a good experience. We go to Goliad for Market Days and meet with 4 of our Goliad-born cousins (Vargas). Our mothers were born and raised there. The manager does go the extra mile for me due to my mobility issues; it is much appreciated. The rooms never disappoint as they are consistently clean, especially the carpet and bath area. The entry as well as the breakfast area are incredibly spotless, too. I make sure the room is ready so the housekeeper/s can easily clean after I/we checkout. Awesome, it was delicious and HOT.

Upon entering my room, I noticed it smelled of smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. I would like to see the property add a mild air freshener for individuals who have allergies to the smell. I could have asked for another room - I wasn't sure if the smoke smell would be in the room.

This Best Western is located right on Highway 59 (Pearl Street) and it is close to the attractions we wanted to see. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was tasty and filling. Definitely will stay there again when we return to Goliad.

We love, love, love the young lady that checked us in Friday night. I wish I would’ve got her name, but she was so kind and so pleasant and very helpful.

The older woman that worked at breakfast counter and front desk Saturday morning, not very kind and pleasant. She spent much of the morning sitting at a table, playing on her phone, and being a little rude and talking to guest.

Location was great.Breakfast was so convenient and good. Enjoyed the different teas.

Update the carpet. Room was to dark.

I am a 68-year-old retired military of stayed in a lot of BW properties. I have to say this far exceeds any of them. I’ve stayed the staff and everything else was just wonderful.
