It was very clean , very comfy and the breakfast was great.

While we were there , one reason we booked was to be able to swim and the staff allowed unpaid guests of a guest to take over the entire pool. More than 20 people . I was a paid guest and barely got to use the pool. Only one of the pool goers in the group of 20plus actually had rented a room . They had a birthday party there and invited a lot of people. Which I felt was unfair to other paid guests . And seemed to be a loop hole to make a party and pool cheaper than renting a venue and they only rented one room. I mean pretty smart idea . But it sucked for us. I believe they probably have a friend that works at the hotel allowing this.

One of the things I like most about Best Western, Lufkin TX is the friendliness of the staff. I’m always made to feel welcome. My late husband and I have used this hotel for twenty years and the location is perfect for me. Everything is clean and comfortable. And the breakfast is good too!

we were running a bit late due to some major traffic tieups in Houston Texas. We call the front desk she assured us not to worry our room would be there for us waiting and she would do her best to make sure I stay was a pleasant one. The next morning we woke to a very well-stocked and complete hot breakfast bar. It was quite tasty. Also, they serve community coffee, which is one of my favorite, which just made the stay that much better. I would highly recommend if you’re overnighting through Lufkin or have some time to spend it will be at a pleasant experience.

we had some very noisy children in the room next to ours, which I would not have heard headed not been for the adjoining door. It made it a little frustrating to get to sleep.

Awesome place to stay. Everything was immaculate, huge free delicious breakfast, staff was very nice and accommodating. Excellent temperature regulation. Beds and bedding was very comfortable. I just can't say enough good things about it. We are going back in November and won't even consider a different place.

There was anyhing I didn't like.

You can tell that the people who operate and manage this hotel - and all of its staff - really actually care about how it is presented! The breakfast was surprisingly good, the rooms are clean, the entry is welcoming, and the people are nice. Cold when I went but the pool looked nice too!!

I liked it all it was awesome I would definitely stay there again they had a coffee machine that had cappuccino and alot of different selections they had strawberry water cookies it was all complimentary it was a must stay hotel very friendly staff just a really awesome place and great breakfast

I loved everything about it

Excellent space for dogs! Our room was near the end of the hall, so getting outside with the dogs was easy

It’s sort of silly- but there was magnificent makeup mirror in the bathroom that didn’t work

the high powered shower was brilliant.

The breakfast was appalling. Highly processed and far from nutritious or delicious. Because of this, I would not stay there again.

have stayed before at this location and the breakfast is great coffee is excellant and the hotel beds are very comfortable staff is very nice and couteous

Nothing wrong with our stay everytime they visit

Great location, clean rooms, comfortable bed and pillows and good breakfast choices.

The lotion bottle ran out and there was only 1 bar of soap to cover for both the sink and shower
