I visit LaFeria Texas and go into Progresso Mx once every year. This hotel is my preferred place to stay every trip. It's so convenient--right off the freeway. The pool area in back is gorgeous, and breakfast begins early. This year I requested an upper level room facing the pool in advance. My preference was honored, plus I received an email advising me that they were saving the room for me. I'll be here again next year.

The coffee maker in the room was a bit touchy, but I eventually figured it out. Not a big deal.

Property was good and in a good location

It’s not about the property it is more about some of the guest there. There were a couple of times that I noticed that different cars would be in the parking lot and the same guest would go meet the person acting shady. Also there was a strong smell of marijuana. They didn’t care if there were families there. Maybe try to get a security officer in the property so that doesn’t continue happening.

The gentleman preparing the omelettes was the best part of our stay. He was a truly focused on ensuring that our breakfast was the best part of our day. If only other hotels offered this option, these type hotels would be a top preference when it comes to booking travel. I appreciate the management offering something extra than the typical than the basic continental boring continental type breakfasts that other hotels offer. The very minor fee and tip and gave him was much earned by him and much appreciated by my family.

The room next door to us had a dog which barked seemingly all day and evening. What a big disappointment. When I approached management about this, they simply stated they would take care of this. Nothing ever came out as a result of this complaint and we slept with ear plugs all night.

I'm sorry I do like the breakfast they serve the same thing and I don't think for breakfast pizza the little pizza things are good you can change that and put another stuff and it will be a great

I just changed the breakfast I mean it's not that's not called breakfast those little pizzas I stay 2 days and it was the same thing

Room was very clean & loved the bathtub good water pressure. Loved breakfast especially Chef Chris breakfast he offers different options had an egg omelet good portion with my choice of ingredients plus a side of refried beans,salsa & flour tortilla for $5 plus you also have the complimentary breakfast to choose from. Front desk personnel has always been friendly & courteous has always accommodated us with 1st floor...good price for room we highly recommend it & we will be back

I always stay at this location for the Past 6 yrs. Price and location mainly. It has changed lately. Still ok but needs some work on things. The ice machine outside been broken for years. The quality of the breakfast is not as good.And a selling of food is now being a choice. I will continue to stay here .but just noticing a few things.being a Wyndham hotel. Should maybe need some updates.

The room was spacious with good amenities. The king size bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and there was also a private chef available making special dishes for an extra charge.

The room spray was a little overpowering when walking in the first time. I'm sensitive to strong scents.

Staff was friendly. Large bottles of soap

The palm trees flowers were wilting and were landing in the hot tub so it was annoyingly dirty. The bed was also so hard. Would've nice if they had more comfortable bedding as well.

Pillows and beds were comfortable for me. Front desk staff very nice. Upscale breakfast was really good and very reasonable. I liked having soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathtub instead of those little soap bars

The tv was a little small. The ac was loud but not annoyingly so.

Water pressure in the shower was great, comfortable bed, pool and hot tub were awesome, room was cold so the a/c worked great, sitting area in the room, lighting in the room was awesome too. Awesome location to what we had planned to do here. Breakfast was great too. On the weekends there's this guy there making cook to order omelets and breakfast tacos. $3 for the omelet and $2 for a taco and they're not skimpy either. He has a great attitude and food was delicious.

Toilet seemed like it wasn't bolted down right, room was a little outdated. Size of the tv, too small and it couldn't swivel.
