From driving up to this European looking boutique hotel to entering the lobby to the smell of fall candles and baked cookies, this place is hands down the cleanest cutest coziest place we stayed in all of Vermont and New Hampshire. The owners have thought of every detail and brings back nostalgic memories of charming bed & breakfasts we used to stay at. You kind of need to experience this place over anyone trying to describe it to you. The food was mouth watering delicious! In particular the bacon quiche! Wow!!

No elevator. But if you’re unable to carry luggage up the stairs I’m sure they’d do it for you or just ask for a room on the same level as the lobby/lounge.

The Snowed inn.... a gem of a ski lodge just off the main road going up to Killington mnt. So close to all the action! The lodge is clean and very cute inside. Big fireplace in the lobby, special note the mattress seemed to be a memory foam type, (very comphy) in a full encasement allergy barrier. Nice touch. Also note worthy, the current owners upgraded the stairs leading up to the main entrance. So, what I think.. for the Killington resort area, a really cute, well appointed ski lodge. I will go on a limb here, cleanest place in mountain road! I highly recommend the place for a ski trip to killington!

All was good. Just a note for traveller's... it is customary in Vermont to serve quiche for breakfast, so that and a hard boiled egg was the protein choices for the morning. Breakfast was good, well made but limited on protein. Not a negative but more of a heads up.

The property was exceptional. Cozy, boutique, beautiful! The hosts and staff were gracious, warm, and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic, it was homemade and served with detailed esthetic. Attention to detail from homemade cookies, hot tub, ease of booking and knowledge of the surrounding area were top shelf! My wife and I loved it!

Nothing that wouldn't be very nitpicking

I like their system of taking breakfast orders the night before. With this all you have to do is come to the dining area at the time you put down for your breakfast and it will be there waiting for you with your name on the table so you know it's yours. Serving sizes are small but good enough to get your day started.

Had a little trouble getting someone on the phone ahead of my arrival. I booked the rooms online but would not be the one checking into the rooms so I started calling a couple of days ahead to make sure that was ok and couldn't reach anyone until I was already in VT.

Breakfast was very good but not a buffet - you chose a meal - might not be enough for big eaters. Surrounding area was beautiful - felt residential. Room was well decorated with a fireplace and plenty of space.

No balcony or terrace. Had to walk down two flights of stairs for water and refrigerator - not a problem for me but could be for some. Quite pricey.

Convenient. Interior laid out very nicely and comfortably with a cute bar and cozy seating by a fireplace. A lot of attention to details to meet everyone’s needs and desires and staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, well tended and comfortable.

If I had to come up with any negative, it would be for better coffee.

Beautiful lodge & accommodations with such a personal touch - from a lovely decorated room and lodge with cozy fireplaces and comfy nooks, a beautiful outdoor hot tub to soak in surrounded by twinkling lights, pines and gorgeous mountains to free delicious homemade breakfast and cookies - Owners were so wonderful and made us feel right at home!! Looking forward to another visit!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I cannot think of a more personalized or exceptional place to stay, whether for a night or a week. Ken and Carolyn are gracious hosts who have anticipated every conceivable need their guests might have. From the complimentary coffee and tea, to the freshly baked cookies, to the snacks available for purchase, the hot tub, the wine and beer bar and the heavenly scent of our guest room, their attention to each detail is noteworthy. The entire experience was wonderful, and we certainly hope to return.

I honestly cannot think of a single thing I would change. Extraordinary service, at a fair price.

We don’t really like stipulating in advance what time we will be at breakfast but understand that this helps with planning. Also we missed having some water in our room but this may have been available in the communal area and I’m sure would have been provided if we had asked.

Warm CC Cookies. Quiet and comfortable.

The room was very tight. During the summer was fine. If it was the winter with snow gear, it would have been very tight. Also, The temperature indicator light was bright during the night,. We could not figure out how to turn it off without turning the A/C off, which would be a problem.
