This is a one of a kind experience at an historic inn with impeccable standards from its quintessential New England decor to its helpful and accommodating staff, and delicious food. We did not have dinner at the restaurant because we had a late lunch at a restaurant in Queechee, but we sampled the Parker house rolls with maple butter,and the cinnamon rolls in the morning which were fabulous. They offer free cookies with coffee or tea in the afternoon which were equally delicious. This is a serene and magical place which I imagine would be more magical during the holidays. The Woodstock Inn is well worth the cost simply because of the nature of the experience. This was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.

Absolutely nothing

We have stayed in Quechee with family who own a home. This year we decided to come on our own. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were filled with peace and happiness. Your staff was phenomenal. Friendly, professional but warm. Huber was just wonderful. Our first night, we dined at Red Rooster, having had lunch there upon our arrival(delicious). Thomas was our evening wait staff. How lucky we were. Professional, so very warm. Knowledgeable. Our meal was wonderful. Dessert was wonderful. (My husband, who often says he has yet to have a delicious cappuccino, has now had one thanks to Thomas). Our experience was so phenomenal that we canceled our next evening reservation to eat at Red Rooster again the following evening and we did request Thomas. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and I can not stress enough what a wonderful and memorable time that we had. From the facilities, to the staff. The grounds are beautiful. We left our home, which is hard to do as we live by the ocean, and to come to a place so beautiful, with dining and the best staff, made it worth it. We are already planning to come back in January. The staff in the activities center was very helpful. I loved the free cruiser bikes and free access to the sports center. We also very much enjoyed our dinner at the Red Rooster. The hostesses at both restaurants were very kind.

The room could have been cleaner. Also, we did not particularly enjoy our experience at the Tavern restaurant. Finally, I didn't like that there were two separate prices for the breakfast buffet. It seemed a bit "nickel and dime" for this type of hotel to charge people extra for the "hot buffet." The "cold buffet" was overpriced for what was offered. It would make more sense to just charge one price for a full buffet.

The events and details they had planned for the eclipse weekend were well thought-out. The property was nice and I would consider coming back for the right circumstances.

The price paid wasn't worth the value of the stay. They had not planned ahead for enough capacity for handling food reservations for the eclipse weekend. I was also disappointed that the temperature in the room was too hot and their response was unfortunately they couldn't do anything about it.

Lovely facilities and rooms were fantastic. Concierge was A++++. Appreciated the many activities available for the whole family as well as the afternoon tea and cookies. Spa was lovely although wish we could have had access to the sauna/hot tub without having to book an appointment. Yoga class at fitness center very good; fitness center facilities excellent. Games room a nice bonus!

Daytime and holiday dining options very limited. Tavern was cosy but not open during daytime, could have had more vegetarian options. Only spot for lunch on Christmas was a very tiny bar area (would have been nice to have even a simple room service or simple soup/sandwich menu available in lounge/ game room areas. Spa beautiful; would be great to add an outdoor "bucket" shower outside sauna, as well as open outside spa service hours to hotel guests for short sauna / steam use.

Offered great selection between continental and hot buffet. Service was excellent. Loved the afternoon cookies they were amazing. Both bars were fun and luckily since there an event bar was open later than usual on a Saturday night. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that the flower leis I had fedexed arrived and kept fresh in the bakery refrigerator for my daughter's graduation on Saturday. They looked like it was just picked that day. Thankyou so much

The location is in a most beautiful picture perfect town. The Billings Farm and the Marsh Billings Rockefeller NPS facility is wonderful. The hotel's swimming pool was a morning delight. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The bed was fantastic. The room was very comfortable. Dinner at the Red Rooster was a delight and they had vegetarian offerings which is what we wanted. On top of that we were celebrating our anniversary and they made special gifts to add to our celebratory feeling in both the hotel and the restaurant.

The shower head was not up to the hotel's high standard.

the Woodstock Inn is absolutely beautiful, and extremely well kept. The Inn is in pristine condition and every detail of the room, the bathrooms, the restaurant, and sitting areas has been well maintained. Not to mention the gorgeous activities center. (salt water swimming pool, steam and sauna) would recommend highly, you won't go wrong!

that the jacuzzi wasn't working

A beautifully comfortable place with an exceptional staff! Every place we went in the Inn was impeccably clean and we loved how many different seating areas there are. Being able to walk to town is a real bonus. We'll be back to see what everything is like "in season."

We loved the hotel; meals and town.

Our dog Logan was a problem when we left him for dinner, so the rest of our meals were compromised. We had to eat the rest of our meals in our room.
