We had a great stay at this historic inn. The portraits of the original owners hung in the lobby, and you can read a little bit about who they were, which was a nice touch. The staff were very welcoming and answered all our questions; they were even able to get us a reservation at the restaurant on the night we checked in! Our room was clean and comfortable; the furnishings were more modern than we expected, but we very much appreciated the USB plug-ins on the bed and the dimming light switches. The breakfast buffet was also excellent--plenty of food and a good variety. I wish we had stayed another night!

Unfortunately, we happened to be there on an extremely cold night, and while the covers were more than enough to keep us warm while we slept, the rest of the room never really warmed up. Just something to be aware of if you're visiting in the colder months.

We loved staying at a historic inn built in 1793! The room with its flowered wallpaper and high bed was very nice and fit with the historic theme. The included breakfast the next day was delicious with options of choices from a menu ( eggs, bacon, pancakes etc) as well as a selection of serve-yourself breads, toast, cereals, coffee cakes, and fruit. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were very happy staying at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm.

Beautiful little Inn within close proximity to Woodstock and very relaxing atmosphere. We totally loved it. Nice little getaway to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Loved it! The rooms were elegant and the beds were very comfortable.

Everything was wonderful!

The property was beautiful, especially after the 2 feet of snow that dumped on us on Saturday! The gathering room with bar and fireplace were perfect for hanging out. The rooms were quaintly decorated, with modern conveniences. The staff were standouts, incredibly hardworking, yet always gracious and friendly.

N/a it was exactly what we were looking for for our little getaway.

This was not my first stay at Quechee Inn, which tells readers something already. As expected, the Inn was rustic, but fully warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, and our scheduled dinner terrific. The value is considerable, and with relatives in the extended neighborhood, I will certainly come again.

No reason to get into tiny details. Every time I asked for something, it appeared, including cookies in mid afternoon.

The breakfast was very good. There were TWO personable employees at the Inn. ONE was the young man who checked me in on SUNDAY EVENING JULY 28. The second person was the young lady who was in charge of the breakfast buffet for JULY 29, 30, AND AUGUST 2ND.

Such a lovely little inn with really super staff. The restaurant is absolutely excellent. There was a fire alarm while we were there and the staff were professional and efficient in ensuring that everyone was safe and accounted for, despite the freezing weather.

Can’t think of anything!

Home-cooked breakfast ... you can't go wrong, and it was very good. Parking was easy, convenient, and free. Friendly staff who were helpful. Dinner was also well done! Bath products were nice.

Underpowered AC cycled most of the night

The hot/cold buffet breakfast was perfect and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pre fix dinner menu was delicious and at a more than fair price. The inn had a lovely bar with a roaring fire that was very comfortable and inviting.

The bed was a little too soft for what we like. Because we had a first floor room in a hallway near the lobby, we were glad that there was a hallway door that closed to the lobby. The problem was that the hallway door squeaked whenever it was used. Probably just needs a little oil in the hinge.

I loved the location and the grounds. So peaceful and beautiful. Loved walking across the street as well where the old township was. My friend and I thought our meals were extremely tasty and filling.
