The location was in the center of everything. The hotel colors were very bright and inviting. They had plenty of recreation, including a pool table and corn toss games. They had a pool small but clean.. and a weight room There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for solitude or social gatherings. The breakfast buffet was great. Easy access to highways, local community events. It is surrounded by plenty of natural beauty. I also loved that it was pet friendly.

At first, my room had an odor, but when I reported, management immediately came to deodorizer it.

Clean. Cheerful colors. Nicely laid out in lobby area. The breakfast was good. Asked for 2nd chair since we were a couple and the room did not have an additional seating area. Evening manager (a young man) was very accommodating in getting it.

Appreciated that the room was designed to keep overhead low (no closet, open shelving without drawers, etc) but the room felt cluttered since everything was out. Also , placing the area for hanging clothes over the microwave sitting on top of the mini-fridge meant some clothes could be literally touching the top of the microwave. The toilets seemed to be set lower than average.

Everything. We always stay at Tru in Farmville, VA to visit family. We've tried several others first and once we stayed at Tru no more looking. Your staff is exceptional, always. Never have we met a more friendly, accommodating staff anywhere and we've stayed all over the country. Breakfast is always good, pool always clean and rooms exceptionally clean. Keep up the great work.

Stayed several times and so far we can't find anything we didn't like.

The Room was Exceptionally Clean Including the Bathroom and the Towels. The Housekeeping Staff were Friendly and Polite. The Front Desk Staff (Especially Ashley, "the Guy" plus Annette, the Manager) were Friendly, Helpful and their Responses to Requests were Very Prompt which was Awesome and Very Well Appreciated. The Pillows were also Comfortable. The Extra Security Door Locks was Great.

We Found the Room on the Second Floor a Little Small and Tight and Quite Difficult to Wheel In and Out the Carts. The Fridge was also so Small and Semi-Functional. We Could Hear the Toilet Flushing from the Room Next Door. The Mattress Kept Shifting and the Bed too. Surprised to See One of the Kitchen Staff (a Female) Following Guests Outside to Ask for Money to Buy Cigarettes. Not Cool At All! Not Enough or Many Popular TV Channels which Would Be Great to Cuddle Up in the Comfortable Bed to Watch your Favorite Channel. Please Expand the Cable TV Channels. One Chair in the Room is Not Enough. Finally, a Cupboard or Dresser in the Room Would be Great as Well.

No Carpet. Shower without tub. Window blinds. All but one staff member provided excellent service. TV had good reception. Good outlet placement.

Breakfast-ran outta pancakes :(, didn't have time to wait while more were prepared). Had bagel instead. Desk person at check in was lackadaisical. Kids running & howling in halls & thumps from room above (kids jumping?) during evening/night hours-irritating but not a deal breaker.

I like the peace of mind me and my family got staying here. It was very quite on my floor! The property is near a lot of eateries, right next door to Starbucks, super plus lol and the lobby entertainment dope as well☺️

My room sink was stopped up and it looked like a lot of gunk under the drain lip but you can’t take it out due to the kind of sinks they have. Wish they had a indoor pool to with jacuzzi oh my my!

I was charged twice when I’d already asked for a refund for one of the rooms BEFORE I got to the Tru facility. There was no response and I think it was unprofessional. So, I won’t be using this app anymore!

Near restaurants, stores, etc!

Lotions and soaps in rooms (bathroom) were either almost empty or empty! Even when staff was told, no action was taken! The outside of the hotel was filthy, concrete needs to be pressure washed and garbage emptied!

Property is located in a very accessible place, layout of building and décor is very nice, staff is fantastic.

The only downside for me was the bed, for it had some dents, which made it hard to get a goodnights rest.

The breakfast was wierd. It tasted good just seemed to be a mod podge of leftovers. The check in desk person at my arrival was not the friendliest. I’ll just say I wouldn’t ask her any additional questions.
