Clean, convenient, fridge cool

Was really warm in the room when I arrived. A/C was off. Turned it on. Fam would only blew at low setting. High didn’t change the flow rate. Took a while to cool down, but it eventually got there. There was a line of several people upon check in. I don’t know how long they had been at the desk waiting for someone to bring a few towels, but I waited 8 minutes with them and another man who also wanted to check in. When you are traveling this is not helpful.

I'm a 73 y.o. woman and drove by myself with my little dog from Temperance, Mi. I felt safe and the room was clean. Did not sample the breakfast but it looked good. They had all kinds of food in crock pots to keep it warm. Very friendly staff.

. Halls Ridge is very very dark and there are large trees that hide the hotels and you can't even see them from the road. With it being so dark there is no indication where the driveway up to the hotels is. I rode by it 3-4 x. Thought I had gone down wrong road, would go back to Main Road(think it was 460)and circle around and come back. Made me really nervous. It was about 9 at nite, and I had been driving all day. Anyways, that was the only problem I saw. I even like the hotel so well that I will be staying there on my return trip, but will make darn sure I arrive in daytime

The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was polite.

We qualified for a Veterans discount but because we booked on line we couldn't get it. It doesn't start that on line. When booking it states pets are welcome but not how much extra for them. When I checked in and was asked if I had pets I told them yes 2 small dogs. They never said there was an extra charge and the amount. I was shocked to see $80.00 added to the bill when I checked out.

Shower pressure was awesome. Rooms were clean, large enough and contained a nice desk, a fridge and microwave. Lobby was spacious and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly.

Hotel is becoming somewhat dated for the price compared to remodeled Holiday Inn expresses, Tru by Hilton, and Springhill Suites. Breakfast was good, but not equivalent to places aforementioned. Indoor Pool was down, but we were offered to use pool next door at sister hotel. Hotel was opposite side of highway from where majority of restaurants and gas stations were.

Check in and out was quick and easy. Receptionist was friendly at both. The room was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The presentation, quality and quantity of the food was great. The breakfast attendant kept the food and beverage well stocked. She also kept the countertops and tables clean.

No complaints.

Breakfast was wonderful, full buffet with waffles. Very clean and staff was there to help and continue to clean tables and serve. Staff greeted us every morning with a friendly smile and greeting.Inconve

The inconvenience of having to ask for housekeeping. Which is the norm now adays, so it still wasn't bad asking. House keeping was very attentive and friendly.

THE STAFF WAS GREAT. Professional, well presented, helpful. Starting from the desk staff, to breakfast guy, to housekeeping, they ALL exceeded my expectations and experiences at other hotels. Breakfast was well represented, and spotlessly clean. Requested a quiet room, and they accommodated my request.

No complaints at all. They give you every chance to ask for what you want or need. If anything pillows were soft.

Staff is great. TV didn't work in our room. Found out at 9:30 pm. Front desk staff changed that TV immediately. Had Papa Johns pizza delivered to the room. Free breakfast, free cookies, free ice cold water. Coffee makers in the room. Good parking. This is my second or third stay here. I highly recommend it. The two ladies at the front desk, night time and day time, ARE GREAT!!!

No detractions.

The staff was wonderful. They cheerfully helped me enter the facility and get to my room. Keith and Angela were fantastic and so was a lady that I called “the cookie lady” because she was replenishing the cookie supply at the front desk. Keith was a God-send as he helped me remove my chair that was stuck on my lift.

Staff worked diligently to keep breakfast buffet going with plenty of food even after the service time ended in morning. Customers were coming in and they kept food coming.

Had to park at hotel parking lot next door....it was close. There appears to be some work/construction going on with the parking area and this may change for future guests.
