The resort was in an absolutely gorgeous setting!! Loved being able to walk to all that was offered on wide paved paths. Very nice architecture and kind staff.

Our executive suite was roomy and well organized. However, it is in need of a bit of brightening up. Especially the “living room area”, which gets the hardest use. The walls were too dark with dark upholstery as well, all in various shades of brown. The carpet desperately needed a good cleaning and fresh sofa and chair in lighter tones with a bit of color. The artwork was very nice and the bathroom and bedroom were much happier places.

When we got to our room, the shower curtain had a bad smell to it. I went back to the front desk and let them know, and the young lady took care of it immediately. My husband and I went to supper at the restaurant/bar, ( food was delicious and sitting out side was lovely after the rain and long trip in the car) and when we got back to our room, we had a clean shower curtain hanging in the bathroom. Loved their customer service and promptness. The setting was so nice...almost like a cabin in the woods. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely stay again.

pillows are actually FIRM and the place was cold and quiet. I loved my hotel room. Will be returning frequently as I will be in the area often for work. Thank you.

had a coffee at the breakfast house (yellow building) the young girl there was very rude, to be honest. I walked in a little after 7 and her first comments were "I dont have the grill hot, hot food wont be ready until 730 at least" with quite an attitude. I told her I just wanted a coffee. but sheesh....not a great way to begin the day being talked to like that. If she's so miserable maybe she should go be doing something else.

Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Pools were beautiful and very clean. Great, well equipped fitness room. Bowling alley was modern, fun and plenty of balls.

Poor water pressure so showers weren't good. Poor maintenance of pool tables and lacking cues. Missing horseshoes, staff couldn't find corn hole, couldn't play video games as kiosk wasn't working.

The resort was gorgeous. All the facilities were well kept, and we thoroughly enjoyed our drive around the resort’s large footprint. We loved the fitness center. Basketball, tennis, pickleball, workout room, bowling… it had everything. All of the employees that we met were friendly, and our breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful. Excellent facilities. So many things to do . Leisure center had indoor pool . Hot tub. Bowling . Basketball. Tennis. Amazing fitness center . Sauna . Ping pong . Great breakfast . Shuttles to the ski slope. Have never stayed here before but it will be our go to for every visit to WV from now on.

Have some minor renovations going on but should be done soon and in the end will make this place amazing

The room was clean bed really soft

I was told there would be a 50$ incidental fee that wouldn't be taken off but pending..but that's not true they took it soon as I ran my card again..then tried charging me two charges of 27.17 and 26.63 I never got the deposit back and yet I got something to my card saying they still tryna take over 60$ out my account.we stayed just two days the 1st and 2nd left out the 3rd of November

Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. First time, in a long time that I was able to sleep in.

The hiking trails need to be better marked. If the trail didn't go by the road I may have got lost. The cable was a little wonky as well.

Beautiful grounds, breakfast buffet was wonderful, pool and hot tub were great, the executive suite was a great size, shuttles were always available and the driver was fantastic, dinner at Bunkers was delicious

The room wasn't ready at check in (4pm), the sofa bed was uncomfortable for the kids (though the master bed was wonderful)

we stayed here for 3 nights on a road trip through West Virginia.The location worked for us- we were here to see New River Gorge national park. It’s about 5 miles outside of Beckley, a city that has shops and restaurants. There really is nothing near the resort. The grounds are beautiful- it is huge! You really need to drive everywhere. This wasn’t a problem for us. The breakfast included in our rate was great- lots of choices, replenished quickly, very clean. Every employee we encountered was polite and helpful. We had all of our meals here. There is a cafe, a sports bar and a restaurant. The food was very good, prices reasonable. There are tons of activities here- a bowling alley, basketball court, 4 golf courses,escape room, darts, movie theatre, fitness center, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, etc. The only thing I used was the pool, sauna and steam room. Now the bad part-the resort is a bit dated. We stayed in an executive suite- There were separate buildings, each with 8 units- 4 in the front and 4 behind. We had a separate bedroom with a king size bed, very comfortable. There was a separate living area with a couch, desk and chair. Both rooms had a tv. The decor in the room was dated, but clean. We had room service every day, which I’m not finding in every hotel anymore. The bathroom was spacious, but needed a facelift. The shower was horrible- worst ever! As long as it was clean, I was fine with the fact that the place needed some updating. The main building was newer and I believe there are rooms there that are probably better. I enjoyed our days there and would stay there again.
