It was very good

The carpet was dirty. I walk around the room in my socks or bare foot they got very dirty.

Great location to visit New River Gorge Having a Grill & Bar restaurant at the site is very convenient when you are too tired to go out for dinner Breakfast is served at a small gift shop where you can find a good selection of gifts

Deadbolt on our door was not fully working (security issue) Pillows were super small - half of a regular size pillow. We got 4 of those half size squares and they were not quite comfortable

Very clean. Bed was comfortable and so were pillows. Rooms looked like it was renovated recently. Restaurant and bar on sight. Complimentary breakfast was good and a nice variety. Food was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dairy Queen walkable and close to everything we wanted to do.

Only thing I would suggest is there was nowhere to hang a coat or dress clothes.

Quiet location just off of a main route, so easy to get to. Friendly front desk staff. My room was clean, no weird smells, and linens looked fresh. No stained comforter like some budget motels. Nice big shower and plenty of towels. Nice sized fridge, as well as a microwave and coffee maker. Curtains kept the light out well at night and there wasn't a lot of noise from the adjoining rooms. The free breakfast was excellent. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, fruit, juice, waffles, pastries and coffee! Made a sausage, egg & biscuit sandwich that kept me going once I was back on the road. I've already recommended the motel to friends who travel this same route and I will definitely stay here again on my way south.

Fridge door was missing a part, so I had to lay drinks flat on the shelf. Coffee could've been a little warmer at breakfast. Honestly not much to complain about.

I was so impressed with the comfortable beds, nice room, and updated bathroom, considering this is an old, remodeled property. Breakfast was much better than most hotel meals. The front desk staff and cleaning staff went above and beyond my expectations. They led me to explore under the bridge, something I would have missed. They located and returned my lost phone charger. The location was perfect, just down the road from New River Gorge bridge.

The location was good - close to my early-morning destination. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious enough. The tv channels offered enough variety.

I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't available until 6:30 am. I was traveling on a photography outing and needed to be on location before sunrise.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the New River Gorge National Park. The facility had everything we required and the team were accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed eating at the onsite Elliot's restaurant and again were made very welcome. The room was clean and functional.

Nice gift shop in breakfast area. Typical food…scrambled aged, sausage, muffin/donut/cereal, but the sausage gravy and biscuit was a nice addition. The AC had a constant fan setting for white noise.

Not light tight window coverings so the room was not dark for good sleep.

We especially liked having a restaurant within walking distance and how comfortable the beds are!

The only things we didn't like was how dark the breakfast room is. Also, looks like the ice machine needs to either be deep cleaned or replaced.

Breakfast was very good room was a little dated and a bit of outside noise but ground floor option was great being a senior with bad knees bed was extremely comfortable TV was not working very good

Probably only thing that could have helped given the age of the motel would be to have a better working TV to make my wife happy
