It was very good

The carpet was dirty. I walk around the room in my socks or bare foot they got very dirty.

Quiet location just off of a main route, so easy to get to. Friendly front desk staff. My room was clean, no weird smells, and linens looked fresh. No stained comforter like some budget motels. Nice big shower and plenty of towels. Nice sized fridge, as well as a microwave and coffee maker. Curtains kept the light out well at night and there wasn't a lot of noise from the adjoining rooms. The free breakfast was excellent. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, fruit, juice, waffles, pastries and coffee! Made a sausage, egg & biscuit sandwich that kept me going once I was back on the road. I've already recommended the motel to friends who travel this same route and I will definitely stay here again on my way south.

Fridge door was missing a part, so I had to lay drinks flat on the shelf. Coffee could've been a little warmer at breakfast. Honestly not much to complain about.

I was so impressed with the comfortable beds, nice room, and updated bathroom, considering this is an old, remodeled property. Breakfast was much better than most hotel meals. The front desk staff and cleaning staff went above and beyond my expectations. They led me to explore under the bridge, something I would have missed. They located and returned my lost phone charger. The location was perfect, just down the road from New River Gorge bridge.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the New River Gorge National Park. The facility had everything we required and the team were accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed eating at the onsite Elliot's restaurant and again were made very welcome. The room was clean and functional.

Breakfast was very good room was a little dated and a bit of outside noise but ground floor option was great being a senior with bad knees bed was extremely comfortable TV was not working very good

Probably only thing that could have helped given the age of the motel would be to have a better working TV to make my wife happy

Convenient location for visiting the New River Gorge NP. Came for an event and everything worked out great. Late check out was possible as the run took a bit longer - thank you for that. I also got parcels delivered to the hotel.

Love the location and the price point and the restaurant on site was super friendly. It was packed when we walked in with 12 of us, but a few tables rearranged themselves to make room for us!

We booked 2 rooms months in advance for us and our kids, yet the rooms were on opposite sides of the property from eachother. They told us they had no control over that and had to give us what was available, yet our friends who booked the night before were put in a room 2 doors down from one of our rooms. Not sure why we weren't given those rooms close to eachother. One of our rooms also absolutely reeked of cigarettes. Luckily we brought a diffuser. Aside from that, we would definitely stay again on our way through New River Gorge!

It was like a mini-resort with its own restaurant, tennis courts and pool. It even had a separate room for breakfast with a gift shop. The room was clean, all but one light worked and there was a nice little fridge with a freezer

For all it had you could still tell it wasn’t new, just a little run down. We were on the back side by the trash, grease pit and that was unpleasant if you walked near it. People weren’t picking up dog poop back there. Maybe a dog bag dispenser would be good

This was great for visiting the gorge, very conveniently located, the breakfast was good and I used the laundry which was great. The gentleman at reception was particularly friendly and helpfull.

Handy location minutes from the NRG National Park , Babcock SP etc nice hotel plenty of parking it was tail end of winter but still bustling with all types of guests , we had a nice stay the room was clean the bathroom good everything worked well tv fridge microwave etc , beds were comfy .

small super soft pillows , seems to be the norm across many brands but they are not comfortable .
