Good stop over on a trip north from Florida. Outstanding – the breakfast was kept stocked even past the posted time. The staff worked so hard. Disappointing - we arrived in the evening, and after a full day of driving, would’ve liked to have been able to use the pool, but it was too full with no other chairs and so many children. Its great that children have the opportunity to expand all that energy after probably being cooped up in a car all day. Would gently suggest that there be adult only hours at the end of the day. Maybe from 10 PM to 11 PM. The following morning when I went down to try to use the pool before again driving for the day, it was closed so that they could do cleaning. This is of course very necessary but most of the hotels I’ve stayed in do this at the end of the day so that it’s ready for early morning swimmers like me.

Enjoyed our stay, definitely will utilize this location again!!! The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Toiletries were great. Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was delicious, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, plenty of bread offerings, coffee, tea, juice, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, even milk. Free bottled water at the front desk. Coffee available all the time, and it's good coffee. Can use the centrally located staircase if needed. Felt safe. Wish I would have taken better photos!!!! Bathroom was spacious, towels were clean and ample. Pillows were wonderful. Easy on/off the interstate. Everyone we interacted with were extremely polite and friendly. Did not disappoint

I wanted to go swimming...but the windows to the pool are to the dining area, I'm not much on everyone watching me.

Bed wobbly, pull out sofa pee stained, few room deformities but I messaged staff about that when I was on sight, we had to evacuate our rooms for a little while in the snow because of some leak (never specified) but other than that staff worked through the issues nicely and was able to keep things going shortly after. Although my stay was iffy the staff made it a little better kindness goes a long way, and the cute lil pup was showing pet friendly and I didn't mind that either 🫶🏽 thank you for this stay.

We booked our trip south by staying overnight at the Country Inn in Beckley. The stay was lovely. The facility was clean and lovely. The hospitality at the desk upon check in was warm and welcoming. Kudos for the warm cookies, coffee, tea or water available in the lobby. A great touch! Our king bed suites were spacious, clean and well appointed. Morning breakfast was good. We have stayed at Country Inns before and they have never disappointed!!

Stayed for 3 nights and was fairly priced, in a good location, near some restaurants and Kroger. I didn't have time to try the pool out, but it looked bigger/nicer than most hotels we've been to. The room was spacious, and I loved that they offered coffee 24/7.

The shower took a minute to get hot, and even then, it was warm, not hot. Even though they had a good selection for breakfast every morning, I was going about an hour-hour and a half before it ended, and it was all cold.

We arrived very early & asked when the room would be ready. We had other things planned so no problem. The desk lady checked on the room & it was still clean so we were able to unload our bags & refrigerate our drinks & snacks. The room was convenient to the exit. The beds were very comfy!

We always try to get a hotel with an indoor pool. Although we are grown sisters, we love to “play” together still. The pool was a huge let down because it was so cold that we could not swim! Even little kids werent in it.

The room had a lot of space in them

There was too much noise in the room above We had to go to the front desk at least 3 times during the night. One time it was 2 in the morning people above us were running stomping sound like a herd of cattle we couldn't sleep for them and we had twin girls that was 3 months old and the noise woke them up and we weren't the only ones that complained about the noise it was several other guests also

Excellent breakfast, hot, cold and fresh. Great location near loads of eateries and the crazy golf/climbing wall/coffee shop. Pool is both indoor and outdoor and heated.

It's a bit tired but the price matches that. Rooms were supposed to be cleaned every 3 days. We ended up staying 8 nights and never had ours serviced at all. We were given fresh bedding and towels on day 7 and sorted ourselves out.

The room was huge, more of a suite than a double room, breakfast was excellent and never had to wait for buffet to be refilled. Staff paid attention to detail and were very friendly & the buffet was very clean & neat! Even the hallways smelled fresh & clean. Location was great for a stop traveling from NE Ohio to NC.

Bathroom was as clean as expected, but facecloths were old & threadbare. A table to sit at with a couple chairs would’ve easily fit in the room and been nice for a family. I liked the big front porch but should not be a smoking area, not very welcoming. The parking was very tight.

As expected, the property and room were perfectly maintained and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast selections were numerous and fresh.

We arrived about 8:00 PM. We had tried to call ahead with questions for a couple days and could get no one to answer. When we checked into the room we called the front desk with a question and could not get an answer. We had to go to the desk which was unattended. The desk phone was ringing off the hook. The clerk finally arrived from somewhere down the hall. The front desk is the hotel’s only problem but that’s a huge problem from a customer satisfaction viewpoint.
