Very very comfortable beds. The staff including Shelia and the gentleman when we checkout out on Sunday morning are so very nice. We did find a cookie under the desk though. Also the cigarette / smoke smells were overwhelming and overpowering in the hallway. We were in Room 113. The client in the room across from us is a heavy smoker and the strong smell permeated the entire hallway which gave us me a migraine. My hubby wasn't happy about the strong smoke odors either. I've got severe asthma so it really affected me a great deal. The breakfast selection was nice. I was thrilled to enjoy hot tea and yogurt. Thank you.

Great location, budget-friendly, and convenient! This was my second stay at this location. Everything was as expected, so no complaints. You have many restaurants nearby and can also walk to some of them if you do not want to drive. Will choose to stay here again in the future.

The breakfast does not have proper protein options. They should at least include eggs or some sausage. The fruits and bread are good enough, but it's not a breakfast that will keep you running until lunch.

We were visiting family in Beckley, so we were just looking for somewhere to sleep and shower at a reasonable price. The rooms were clean. Towels and sheets smelled fresh. The staff were visible washing linens and cleaning. There were plenty places to eat around the Hotel. Some in walking distance. Check out time was 11:00 and we didn't feel rushed to check-out before 11:00. We were very satisfied with our stay. Will probably stay there again when we are in Beckley.

I have no complaints, but if someone is looking for a big breakfast or elevator to 2nd floor or a view they would be disappointed. Thankfully we were on the 1st floor.

Good Location, felt safe. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Coffee in the morning:). Perfect for a quick one night stay while traveling.

The biggest issue I had was making the reservation on Booking, having a reservation #, credit card charged, and showing up and they had no record of the booking. I was really way too tired to have this problem. Clerk suggested I contact where I booked (in Amsterdam?). Issue resolved after considerable time and way too much information sharing just to find me in the system. You should not have to go through this.

I went to Winterplace Ski Resort for skiing. The location is not far, you can reach it by car in 20 minutes. The price is a good deal and I plan to come again. The room was spacious and clean. The sound insulation effect is a bit poor but acceptable. Overall a great experience. If you are planning to go skiing I highly recommend staying here. I was injured a bit while skiing, but there is a CVS nearby, just a few minutes walk away.

The variety of breakfast is a bit limited, it would be better if they can have waffles.

Friendly staff that seemed to care. rooms were dated but everything seemed clean. Beds were comfy as well.

The plumbing looked like it needed some attention. nothing major but the toilet had a slow leak in the tank, the shower head was leaking when in use and the shower has a very slow draining system. probably needs snaked out for hair. The faucet also leaked on to the counter when in use. 45 minutes of a plumbers time would fix everything.

convenient location, free parking

The place was very well kept and clean, the staff was great! If you are in the area and need a clean room, on the cheep side, this is the place. We lived in this hotel for almost a month dealing with a family emergency. The staff was always accommodation and helped us with anything we asked for. Wonderful people! I would like to thank them all for everything they did for my family and I.

The only place that I would say I didn't like it the free breakfast. Of course anything "free" is great, but I would love to see this place improve their breakfast. There are plenty of breakfast options near by and a nice coffee house. I would recommend a partnership with those local restaurants to either bring products in or a discount to go to their locations.

We were traveling all we wanted was a place to spend the night. We checked in went to our room then in the early morning we left. We were not looking for a hotel that offered a lot stuff we just wanted a place to sleep. We got what we paid for and if we need to stop in Beckley, WV again for overnight we will use same location.

Front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Room was as described. Location was good.

Breakfast was underwhelming. Granny Smith apples are for cooking, most people do not eat them raw. Yogurts were on their last date for expiration. Area was very dirty, especially the trash can area (at 7 am). Could have been because of Monday morning after busier weekend?
