Location and river view was wonderful. Staff was phenomenal. Pub and pub staff wonderful.

Driveway probably knocked out the alignment on my vehicle. We aren’t picky people at all. Pub food was terrible. None of us were able to eat what we ordered. All saying there was a weird aftertaste. There was unidentified liquid on the bathroom floor. It wasn’t water. We used a towel to get it up and it remained dry throughout the remainder of our stay. When we checked in, she asked a male worker to run up and look for any water on the floor prior to giving us the key. He said it was good very quickly. If the bathroom is what they were referring to, it was not ok and he missed it or either he took the opportunity to relieve himself and wasn’t paying attention.

The place hit all my requirements. The double queen room was spacious, the beds and pillows comfortable, the room was clean and reasonably quiet considering all the guests around. Appreciated shampoo/soap/conditioner dispensers in shower! The front desk personnel were pleasant and professional. Loved the fact there was a container of lemon water along with the complementary hot drinks. We didn't eat much breakfast, but did note there was a good election of hot and cold options in the breakfast buffet.

Some of the bathroom looked dated, but nothing was broken. Price higher than I would usually pay for a room like this, but likely due to location.

The location was on a road, off of a main highway which I liked because then I didn’t have to hear traffic. The room size was a little small for me and my two children but it was suitable for the one night we needed it. The buffet breakfast was a hit for my kiddos. Who likes having to worry about breakfast? Not me. The staff was very pleasant. The rooms were clean, they use plug in fresheners an it was a pleasant clean smell. Overall great place and will be booking again soon

Good location. Free parking, well lit. Quiet room. Reasonable breakfast. Efficient check in.

Juice machine out of order at breakfast. One of the queen beds in our room appeared damaged and was uncomfortable. Hotel appeared to have people living there long term. Although the property does not allow pets, we saw a non service dog inside the hotel.

The location was great, I really appreciated the Continental breakfast, the beds were very comfortable, and I cannot say enough for how very kind the staff was for my family

The property was a little dated and there were some repairs that needed to be made such as paint chipping on the walls and some dents in the wall. But it didn't take away from all the positives that came with staying there.

Very convenient to locations we were visiting like Thurmond, Prince, Hawks Nest, etc. Close to shopping and food right down on Mall Rd. Everybody was very friendly, breakfast was decent, and beds comfy!

A few spots in the bathroom could've been cleaner, and the light kept flickering.

I have stayed at this hotel several times throughout the years when visiting family. Location is key. The staff are always nice and handle questions with ease.

There was an ugly, from what I think it to be, was a coffee stain down the side of one of the beds. Soaked through the comforter down to the mattress itself. The coffee pot had an old coffee pod sitting in it when I went to use it.

Great location near the New River Gorge NP in West Virginia, which is why we picked this hotel. Beautiful area, reminded me of the Adirondack region in upstate New York. Great jumping location to tour all of this new National Park. Comfy room, good breakfast.

The location was very close to where we wanted to be. The Staff were very personable and accommodating. The room was comfortable.

The breakfast room was extremely small and the availability of food was insufficient.

Location was good near New River Gorge NP. Free Wi-Fi, parking and breakfast. The breakfast was very good! Room was refreshed on request. Allowed for a late check out. Would stay again!

Would have liked some more counter space in the bathroom.
