I really liked a lot of things about this property. First and foremost was how clean and fresh and comfortable the room was. I’ve stayed in many budget rooms and this is way above the rest. Also, the parking lot, lobby, and halls and staircases were clean and well-maintained too. The swimming pool was really nice, the water was warm. Also, the coffee in the morning was really good! The lobby was clean and inviting.

One thing I didn’t like was regarding the pool area. It was well-ventilated. I was hoping for a hot and humid pool area, but I guess that does get unhygienic and unhealthy over time. Glad it wasn’t moldy or dirty in there.

Close to the highway and the New River Gorge National Park. A big town, Beckley, was 5 5-minute drive away. Lots of big shops and restaurants in Beckley. The bed and the pillows were nice, which I hardly found in other motels. Breakfast was the same every day, but it met our needs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It looked rusty with old carpets. But, looked like they brought something new to spread. The kitchen area was closed after breakfast time, and I could not fill my water bottle. There was a signal plug point for the microwave and the fridge. So you can use either of them. Not good. I think the TV also did not work.

The hotel was being renovated when we stayed. We got three rooms. All three were very clean and comfortable, however my room had a strange smell in it. It was the opposite side of the hall so maybe it had to do with the work being done. There was a very good, hot breakfast available. The hotel was quiet and clean

The only bummer was there was a very small dining room in the breakfast area and you were not allowed to take your food to your room which means we all couldn't sit together to eat. That's just being picky though

This place is great for what it is. Reasonably priced and close to restaurants and New River Gorge Park. Staff was friendly and the place was overall quiet, although I did stay during the week. There is free coffee and water in the main reception. Hotel was clean. Some smoking rooms but no smell in the non smoking rooms. Front desk staff said they sometimes have issues with booking.com reservations but I had no problems.

The AC is old and turns on and off loudly. It does work well though. I don't think there is an elevator for 2nd floor access.

The stay was good. We didn't have problems at all. The staff was kind and attentive. The building is old but we didn't find big problems due to this.

The breakfast was horrible. It is true that one day we asked for the housekeeping service and they didn't do it.

The hotel itself was clean, the staff were great. But they’re in the middle of renovations. There were huge rolls of carpet laying out in the parking lot. The signs were missing they were just had tarps hung up with the hotels names.

We had an early departure and the breakfast room was ready to go well before the scheduled time. The location and price point are excellent.

The TV didn't work, which was no problem because of the brief stay.

It was very clean and the staff were very nice

The breakfast was okay, the biscuits and gravy weren’t very good but it was complementary so you can’t really complain too much

The staff was in training and still amazing and exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised the pool was open colder than we expected but it was wonderful. We had expected it to not be as clean as it was. Every room has a refrigerator and microwave. TV was flat screen and on the wall.

It's an older motel so it needs repairs and updates such as paint in places and hardwood flooring rather than carpet.

Location was great. Close to the highway and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The rooms were a little out dated but very comfortable. Truthfully the comfort was what mattered.
