This is a very nice motel, especially for a family with children. There is a play yard and leisure space for all. Especially liked the large room numbers which made our room easy to find. Great breakfast bar with good protein. If we ever travel this way again, we definitely will return. Room was clean (including the carpet, which looked new) and comfortable. We could park right outside our room. The person who served us (maybe the owner), was friendly and welcoming. Was quite, too.

Can't think of a thing to say here, except that the bathroom door was hard to close. That's all.

First stop on our road trip - easy to find, friendly staff, standard American breakfast. 10 minute walk to a great pizza restaurant. very happy to recommend

This is a comment on all 9 hotels we stayed in during our trip (Denver, South Dakota, Yellowstone, Capitol Reef and Las Vegas. The wastage of plastic/cardboard plates and cups and the plastic cutlery now used (after Covid?!) for breakfast is appalling - there appears to be no recycling going on at all. If you want to save the planet, pack your own plates and cutlery and take washing up liquid.

The location is great - in the small town of Lusk close to Manville, where we were visiting family. The room was a nice size and kept clean. The breakfast was good. They staff was helpful and accommodating.

The bed was a little hard for me , and I know everyone has different preferences.

The staff behind the desk was really kind and welcomed us and thanked us for being there. And the hot breakfast was outstanding for the price we paid. It was amazing.

We had to turn the air conditioner on manually because the thermostat didn’t appear to work, but we were so thrilled with everything else that didn’t bother us that much

Loved the atmosphere, the family "feel" with a playground for kids to enjoy after a long day in the car. There was a shaded lawn with chairs for people to sit and chat. One family was having a picnic. It was welcoming. It was fun to see an actual covered wagon and read about its history. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was great.

Because it is a little older, there are some upkeep items, but they were so minor, they were not distracting.

The classic 50s auto court has been maintained at perfection. My room had been meticulously prepared, everything about the room was fresh, eye-fetching, and functional. I enjoyed a delicious night's rest. Breakfast was just right, and there's a separate room devoted to that service. Grounds are pleasant, and if you drive electrical, there are four charging stations. Staff exuded warmth and hospitality. Check-in and checkout were easy and swift. A welcoming spirit was evident throughout. The management understands what customers value. If you are traveling the Wyoming boundary, this is the place to book. Don't bother with higher priced venues. Your delight is here!

Visually the hotel looked a little drab on arrival but the receptionist was lovely as was the room. It's obviously been refurbished in the recent past with new flooring/carpets and bed coverings and provided for a great stay. The included breakfast was outstanding with lots of choices including hot options. The whole place was spotlessly clean and obviously the owners take pride in their hotel.

Nothing in the hotel. Eating options in Lusk in the evening were rather limited though.

Perfect place to stop between Boulder/Denver to the Black Hills. Breakfast was awesome. The French toast was perfect. Sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes really hit the spot. In addition to orange and apple juice they had zero calorie fruit flavored water. The family run historic hotel was great.

This place was really the best! Check in great. I wished we could of arrived sooner because I would of jumped in the huge pool. I walked around the outside while waiting for my hubby to get dressed and go to breakfast with me. The breakfast was really good! Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash brown potatoes, waffles and juice and coffee along with other stuff I didn't get. Next time we hope to stay a extra night!

Gentleman at reception on arrival was very pleasant and more than helpful in moving us to a downstairs room (we don't like stairs carrying our bags). He also, when we enquired, told us a little of the history of the area and where the best place to eat was.

The only thing I can say is we arrived at breakfast just before 9am (finished at 10am) and there was no hot food left as was not replaced in the 20min. we were there.
