We spent a full week in this hotel and could not have been happier. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and really went out of their way to help us with our plans and any issues we had. This really made a difference for our experience in Con Dao. The location just outside of town is nice and quiet, but still easy to reach the center, restaurants, beach etc. Our room was comfortable and very clean, with a good bed and nice shower. The hotel has a pretty good restaurant (and great cocktail bar), with a pleasant outside terrace full of plants. We would love to stay here again!

The hotel and the room's decor is very beautiful. The room is big and comfortable. There is a kettle, hairdryer and fridge.The shampoo and body wash provided had quality. There was a water dispenser so you don't have to waste plastic. The location is far and still close to the village center, so it's a peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The owner is very nice and gave us useful tips along our trip in the island. The hotel facilitated us to rent a bike and also booked a taxi to the airport. The restaurant there had a very good breakfast and delicious coffee.

They cleaned the room whenever we wanted but they never cleaned the mugs? It wasn't provided courtesy coffee and tea bags The dogs there were not friendly and were a little bit noisy..

This is our 5th stay at this hotel, but the first time with the new management. They’ve got English-speaking staff now and even one of the best restaurants on the island right downstairs - Beach House. The room is big and pretty clean, though the towels could definitely be washed better (a lot of them had stains). The location is a bit outside the center (about 5 minutes by bike), but that’s actually nice - no karaoke, no traffic, no noisy vendors. Overall, despite a couple of downsides, we still really like this place and think it’s great value for the money.

The room definitely needs a bit of fixing up. Our shower door made an awful screeching noise every time we used it, and the hanger was broken. Nothing major, but it feels like some small fixes here and there would make the stay a lot better. Also, something to keep in mind: Beach House restaurant has a few dogs around. They’re not exactly friendly (the staff will even warn you about it). Most of the time they won’t bother you, but if you’re not comfortable with dogs, it could be an issue.

the room was very spacious and so clean. It was very nice to be in such a beautiful & clean space. I was looking for a quiet stay away from the city and this was all I asked for. Staff was really nice, you can have breakfast, lunch, diner in the restaurant of the hotel and the city center is 30-40 min away by walking. The beach only 20min walk. The hotel also has scooter for rent at 150.000/day that are in very good condition. My scooter looked like it was new. And I also really recommend you try out the coconut icecream shop next to the hotel, it is open until late.

only thing I say is that the showerhead probably needs to be replaced, but honestly it works, I don't mind

Lovely, bright corner room with nice furniture and a homey feel. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a really lovely backyard too. Breakfast was great, always with a selection of fresh fruits, different coffees, tea, and fresh juice. Main course was chosen daily from a menu. Staff was nice and always helpful. Drinking water was freely accessible in the hallway. It is located about a 30 minute walk from the centre of the city, but there are small shops close by for your snacking needs, and the location itself made for a very peaceful place. We rented a motorcycle/scooter and drove around the island. Found several really good dinner spots. There's also a huge convenience store in town and a beautiful, pristine beach to swim from when the tide is in. Plenty of opportunities to go on adventure and explore in an uncurated way. Be very mindful of the environment. NEVER throw trash outside of bins. If there are none, bring your trash with you.

Just finished my stay at Hotel De Condor in Con Dao and it was amazing! The room was super clean and comfortable, exactly what I needed after long beach days. I loved the morning yoga under the trees by the mountain — so peaceful and unique. The fusion-style restaurant was a real highlight, offering creative dishes with fresh local ingredients. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing hotel in Con Dao with great vibes, nature, and good food, this is it. Highly recommend for couples, solo travelers, or anyone seeking calm.

The hotel has friendly and helpful staff who offer great recommendations for local tours. Rooms are spacious, clean, and offer a refreshing view of the green mountains. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, with breakfast being a standout – both tasty and satisfying. There's also a lovely garden area that's perfect for reading or simply relaxing, creating a calm and chill atmosphere. Another highlight is the yoga class available at the hotel, which is a great way to unwind and support your mental well-being during the trip.

Did not find anything

I truly felt at home here at this lovely property. My room was a corner room with a nice view the mountain. Very cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with any needs and advice about activities on the island. The restaurant serves food all day and night with many delicious choices and I really enjoyed their smoothie bowls. They also bake fresh bread every day! There are guided morning yoga classes available (by Lalita) to relax and energize you here on this quiet and peaceful island.

Wonderful staff - very friendly and helpful. Booked us taxis etc whenever we needed. Room and common areas pretty and clean. Has a small garden where you can relax for a little bit. There are electric bikes (as well as scooters) to rent which was really helpful. Good breakfast - made to order. Can have various Asian breakfasts or bread with fried eggs. Everything comes with juice, fruit and coffee. It’s an easy bike or scooter ride to beaches and the town.

The beds are very hard. I like a firm bed but this was a bit much even for me. The shower temperature is all over the place. It’s not a big deal but it takes ages to heat up and then goes hot and cold a lot.

Extremely comfortable stay at the Hotel de Condor. Very welcoming friendly English speaking staff who ensured that my stay was really enjoyable. They helped to rent a motorbike and gave me some great tips on places to visit and places to eat in Con Dao. Breakfast was excellent which I enjoyed in the beautiful garden area. I'm sure I will visit Con ado again in the future and will definably stay here again. Definitely recommend.
