Starhill Hotel is located very close to the night market, within 5 minute's walk. The hotel offered good breakfasts (a la carte, with coffee tea, juice, bread, lovely jams and fruit.) They offered good laundry service done within the day. Our clothes were returned folded and fresh. Other services included booking of tours and transport, although we didnt make use of these. The staff members are friendly and helpful. They really were lovely to deal with. The room had 2 double beds. It was clean as was the bathroom. The towels were fresh and white, the toiletries nice. We were supplied with bottled water daily. Overall, the hotel left a positive impression and I would consider staying again.

The bed was too hard for my liking, and flared a longstanding back issue. That said, the linens were crisp and clean. On the subject of the beds, it would be great to have a second bedside table in the room.

What is the most I like about Starhill : The friendly and welcoming smile from the owner, Mrs. Lien. The team at front desk is open 24/24, staff gave me advices for activities and making sure that I could enjoy the good stay during the long holiday weekend of 30/4 which is the busiest time in Viet Nam. The room is nice, with clean sheets and towels. There is elevator to get to the balcony where I can see the view of Dalat city, The location is perfect for walking around the market and for the abundance of restaurants choice. The staff is helping me in finding excursions and tours. The breakfast is included and I enjoyed the variety of food choices. Mr. Hieu is very kind and knowledgeable. I'm an experimenter. Knowing that Starhill has many bad reviews, I decided to book and try staying here. I booked but didn't pay in advance on Booking.com, I had to check-in and pay afterwards. Really not like the reviews or complains that I had read. Welcome from Starhill's reception. Thoroughly guided me from check-in, hotel's amenities, and gave me a breakfast voucher full of information. When I received the room, although it was just Dormitory basement bed, it was really comfortable like a private room, with towels, drinking water, personal toothbrushes are provided daily, the bed had sockets electricity and night light... In addition, check-in the room, there is also a locker for personal belongings, a flat shoe shelf. Restroom is cleaned every day, full of shampoo and shower gel. I checked-in on an empty day of the hotel, so I was alone in that room. I proud of this hotel, the listed price is reasonable. The next day I had breakfast at the 7th floor, the top floor of the hotel. Very attentive service by the restaurant ladies, I can order many dishes at the same time, perhaps familiar dishes to Vietnamese people, but I really compliment the cooking skills of the restaurant ladies. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Items such as cups, chopsticks, spoons, plates, glasses, cups, etc. in the meal were left on the table when I walked up to the restaurant, very convenient. Besides, fresh fruit, orange juice, tea and coffee are prepared. It was great to have a nice experience at Starhill and I will be back on my next staying!

The buffet is simple but meet my expectation considering the room price (inclusive of breakfast) however the hotel is not providing buffet everyday. The staffs are very helpful except some of them are not too conversant in English, anyway we overcome by using google translate. airport bus stop at the market within walking distance from the hotel. inform the bus driver the hotel name. they helped to purchase limo van ticket to Nha Trang also has scooter rental service.

It will be better if the light at the corridor can be switched on everyday.

Very good smily staff, big rooms, great location with marker and lots of food around, tasty breakfast. Renting a bike with a child seat. And even free laundry due to many days stay. We booked 1 night, then kept on prolongating for 7 days.

Great location, wonderful staff. I tore my dress on the bus and the lovely lady at reception repaired it for me ..by hand...and you can barely see where it was. Close to town and markets, great food near by. All tour tickets and bus transfers can be done at the hotel. WiFi is good. Happy with our stay for the price I paid. Give it a go

Not that I didn't like it, but breakfast is basic as is the hotel, but it's great value and was a comfortable stay. No complaints really.

It is difficult to find! Look out for the Tulip hotel , it's on the same side of the road but two doors down and you need to look inside to see the sign for the property. It's doesn't have a sticking out sign like the Tulip Breakfast was average.

The host and ladies who cook breakfast are very cute and enthusiastic, I woke up late after serving time, but she still cooked food for me. The location is right in the center, a little walk to the Da Lat market.

Dorm room is in the basement, feel suffocated,, but overall it's worth for the money spent.
