This has truly been an enjoyable getaway. The service has been exceptional, with genuinely friendly staff always ready to assist, and the pricing is quite reasonable for the level of comfort offered. Overall, it's been a fantastic experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a relaxing retreat.

The spacious and comfortable room made my vacation extremely enjoyable. I was able to sleep very well, which is not always a given.

I had a bit of difficulty finding the place because there are two other hotels nearby with the same name. But then the hotel staff promptly assisted.

The rooms are clean, the DeLuxe option is also spacious enough, the bathroom is nice. The furniture and storage space in the room are above standard in this price range. Breakfast is rich, cold and hot options, European and Asian types of food. Coffee is acceptable, juice is good. Beds are comfortable and European length (I'm 190cm without a problem). Helpful staff at the reception. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and street food in the area. Air conditioning is fine, cools it down enough, but it is quite noisy. You can't use it all night, it would wake you up.

The equipment is quite old, for example the bathtub in the bathroom should be replaced. One elevator for eight floors of rooms - not always enough in terms of capacity. The breakfast room is also on the verge of capacity. But for a longer stay, you can figure it out, and you will hit a freer time window. The higher the floor, the more you can hear the air conditioning units on the roof, on the lower floors there is quite a bit of noise from the street, but that's Asia 😊 . But the price of the accommodation compensates for these possible shortcomings, and we didn't know anything in advance, so it's fine and we can only recommend it.

Asian Ruby Hotel & Spa is central and well located in District 1, with many restaurants/eating places close by, within reach of lots of amenities and places to book tours. Ben Thanh market is not far away, is reasonably priced via grab (do not use a metre taxi, that is very expensive!)! On our first day we used metre taxis which charged us a lot of money. The front desk staff were kind and helpful with providing information, so were the house cleaning staff and staff at the breakfast place. Tuan was exceptionally helpful to us. I was travelling with my friend Natasha. He assisted with ordering and installing a Vietnam sim card for each of us Tuan also assisted us to download the grab app, and to register on grab on our phones. Thanks to him, we discovered that ordering a taxi via grab is far cheaper than ordering a regular metre taxi.

We liked everything about the hotel. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast was good. I was proceeding to Dan Nang, Hoi An, Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh for about 2 weeks with my friend. The hotel kindly kept the rest of my luggage whilst travelling. From Hanoi I fly back to HCMC, and will again put up at Asian Ruby Hotel & Spa for one night on my way out of Vietnam. Natasha flew out of Vietnam from Hanoi.

Asian Ruby Hotel & Spa is a beautiful and friendly hotel, located centrally close to many amenities. I previously stayed there with my friend Natasha on arrival in Vietnam on 2 April 2025. The hotel location is great, the hotel staff is extremely friendly, kind and helpful, both day and night staff. This is at the front desk, concierge, house keeping etc

I liked everything about the hotel, and will definitely be coming back sooner than later. The hotel staff was exceptional, especially Tuan, Alice, Truang and Y. This time around I stayed one night on my way out of Vietnam, after spending 2 weeks in this beautiful country ❤

Nice family room with good space for four adults. The price included a convenient buffet breakfast which is a mix of local and western spread. The wi-fi was effective and useful. Reception and porter services were helpful and polite. There were daily room tidy up. The central location of the hotel in District One made it a convenient base for walking to nearby attractions and easy coach pickup for tours, for example to Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong delta boating.

The shower had a leak and made the toilet floor wet.

The best thing about my stay was definitely the staff especially the night receptionist John who did his best to make sure I had a comfortable stay including moving me to a nicer room upon my arrival, helping me to understand the city and providing great food and activity recommendations. I would give the staff and their dedication to customer service 10/10. The rooms however need an upgrade. Very old house vibe but I did enjoy my stay in all and the upgrade to the nicer room did help.

I booked room with 2 single beds. BUT when check in, after paying all money, a reception guy started to tell us to stay one night in a room with 1 double bed and would change to other room the next day… a bit uncomfortable, and not professional, it will be nicer if telling us before. Btw the other staffs was nice and at the end we got the room which we want.

We were thoroughly impressed with the value offered by this hotel. Despite its affordable rates, the quality of service and accommodations far exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, with a variety of options to suit every palate. The convenient location made it easy to explore the city's attractions. Overall, a fantastic choice for budget-conscious travelers

Breakfast was good, had a variety to choose from. Location was good, a lot of things were in walking distance if not just order a grab. Close to Cat Cafe and Bunker Museum, Coffee shops, Eateries, Hairdresser and Nail shops for pampering. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Carpet in hallways outside of rooms could do with a clean and moving the bed up near the bedhead so the floors can be cleaned under bed.
