This hotel was at a convenient spot. The staff were very welcoming and even let us check-in late (at 2AM). We were a group of four, but they let us book a room for three at the price of an extra 50k VND. The room looked exactly as shown in the pictures, and was spotless. We also really liked that it was well-equipped with toiletries (2 pairs of slippers, soaps, towels, and a hair dryer).

Though the location of the hotel is convenient, but because it's located in a very narrow alley, it's a bit hard for cars to get to it. Another thing is that while it's printed on their door that they accept cards, they only accept online QR payment (e.g. Momo) or cash.

I stayed at Hotel Thanh Vinh for one week. The room was good for the price. The hotel is in a quiet area. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, they couldn't speak much English, but we managed fine by using Google Translate. The hotel is about 5km out from the centre and there are no tourists staying there, only Vietnamese. If you want to meet real people and experience the real Ho Chi Minh City its the place for you. If you want to get ripped off and be surrounded by tourists, stay in District 1.

The bed linen was clean but stained in places.

The staff is friendly. The location is great. The room is comfortable with all the appliances you need for a stay.

The hot-cold water did work well that it takes a while before the water is boiled. The hotel likes to close the door after midnight, which is a bit inconvenient (although you can press the bell to ask the staff to open the door)

Clean and spacious room. Good shower with hot water. Location is off the main road but 1 minute from the bus stop - only 25 mins into district 1. Nice location out of the centre but a good area with a few restaurants and supermarket. lovely staff, they don't really speak English but we're very kind and gave us fruit and water. Quiet AC and a fan.

The fridge was not working. The bed wasn't too comfortable. Very loud every morning with people slamming doors and can hear the lift beeping.

no hassle and quick check in, and a basement carpark where i can park my rented bike ,, you can walk if have time to the macdonalds which is only 500 mets away

a kettle would be nice and some complementary drinks like coffee but a kettle will do.

Dam and the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful, always willing to go out of their way to help me and make sure my stay was superior. I will appreciate you both forever <3
