The renovations on the original floor interrupted my breathing, but once in a new room, I settled well(very tired & late flight). The bar above is independent of the hotel & not like the past photos.. great for solo YOUNG! Open balcony. Courtyard safety assured while reading by hotel security. Close to everything! Even an overpriced market! Book mouldy.. but still found a good one to read! No breakfast..meals are easy with so many/variety of cafes close by. Even prayer at a temple, not 300 metres from hotel..tucked away in a quiet lane..with a 'little ' Friday karaoke,LOL. That finishes soon in the night for soft, peaceful sleep. Unaware of the renovation; deep cleaning required of bathroom ( leaking sink): fixed next day. Mouldy books. Balcony bar not (what was advertised)so 《 inviting for older guests; though they tried to make me feel welcome; $ + drinks.

This hotel blew my mind. After touring all over Vietnam and many different hotel stays, this one is head and shoulders above the rest (on this budget). The staff are amazing, the decor is amazing and the bed was amazing comfortable. The room has everything we needed. I wish we had found this hotel sooner.

The biggest issue by far was that there is a bar of some description on the floor above us. Unfortunately the noise from the bar (music, chairs being moved, walking) kept me awake at night. Luckily it stopped some time between midnight and 1am I think. If it wasn’t for this the hotel would be a 9 from me. I had to score it lower because basic leave and quiet is a must for all hotels. Also of note, the safe in the room was broken as was the cable TV. We only stayed for one night so not a big issue for us.

The room size was actually perfect for me… as a single traveler. The bed was quite comfortable and I had 4 wonderful pillows all to myself. The bathroom is decent and was kept clean. The staff at the hotel were very nice, friendly and helpful. Overall, I was happy with my 8-day stay at the Alcove Library Hotel.

My room was at the 4th floor but they had a bar at the 5th floor, above my room, thus I can hear the slight beat of the music from about 5pm till 1am. But since the room was directly below the bar floor, I can also hear the footsteps of the girls in their heels and the moving of the bar stools, once in a while. The hotel is great, but ask not to be on the 4th floor.

Room is clean and reasonable size. Staff are accommodating and pleasant. The hotel library is unique. Hotel is very near airport (62k vnd from hotel to airport). It’s a quiet and nice area , not so far from the center.

If the restaurant is open it oils be noce

The location is convenient for business or traveling. The room is cozy, and yet comfort.

The bathroom is only quite clean, not very clean. However, overall, the quality is acceptable!

It has a lovely vibe and foyer, overall a nice property - there's an amazing restaurant nearby called Metta

No breakfast option, staff seemed less happy to help and it was definitely an older building which needed doing up a bit

Very near the airport, so dont worry about arriving late for flights. Many shops, cafes around the hotel to choose from The rooms are as described in the booking. Easy for checkin, check out. Staff are friendly & helpful. Very satusfying & comfortable stay.

Alcove was such a change after having stayed at the city center for a few days. It's in a nice peaceful alley, about 10 minutes drive from the airport. It's a cute boutique hotel with a charming cafe and tons of books. For the price, I had everything I needed for a short stay and would highly recommend this place.
