We had a basic but spacious and very clean room. Wi-fi, AC, water pressure and temperature regulation in the shower all great. Beds are comfy and it's quiet despite being so close to the airport. We had a great sleep before our flight! Staff is super sweet and spoke english, they do offer food but we didn't try. There are shops and many local food spots nearby. We walked to the airport in about 20 minutes but they also offer to organise transport for you. We were able to check-in a bit early. Must be the best place near Hanoi airport in this price category, I would definitely stay again.

Some people may have a problem with 4 floors without an elevator.

I recommend this hotel because it is very close to the airport, around 15 minutes walking, and it also looks very nice. You will have shampoo, soap, shower gel, hair comb, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shoes for home, AC, and a tv with access to Netflix and Youtube. The room was clean and the bathroom as well. The owner is very nice and he can help you with taxi to arrive in the city and he can also help you to book tours. The reception is open all the time.

The only thing missing is a fridge in the room but it's not a big deal. The AC is working properly and it is not loud but it can gen too cold in the room so you have to be careful.

We ended up in this hotel because we missed our flight. Luckily it was a super easy process. Once we booked through booking, we received a message from the hotel if we need a pick-up and then we got picked up 5 minutes later at the airport. We arranged as well the morning drop-off at the airport. Card payment was available. For a layover we can absolutely recommend this hotel due to its proximity to the airport (5-10min drive). Good wifi and clean, spacious room.

no elevator

The owner texted us before we landed and offered us pick up service ($4 one way) which was needed after a long flight and considering we didn't know how to get to the hotel nor who to safely approach once landed. The room was great for the few hours we've been there before catching the next flight, early in the morning. Again, the owner offered to bring us to the airport (same rate) at 4am, he slept on the couch at the reception to make sure he would be able to bring us there on time. MAX RESPECT FOR THIS MAN!

I needed a place to crash before for a few hours between arriving in Hanoi and checking in to my main accomodation. This seemed like the nicest option, closest to the airport. The manager reached out to me days before arrival to confirm my arrival details and even came himself to pick me up from the airport at 2am. The entire family was involved in running this adorable little hotel and I truly felt well cared for in just those few hours. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. It had a simple and small bathroom with great pressure in the shower. Hot water was available at all times. The hosts organised a taxi for me to get into the city and charged me a rather reasonable rate (less than Grab). They even gave me a snack and a drink while I waited and also helped me load my bags into the car in the pouring rain. The hotel overlooks beautiful paddy fields. All in all it was a lovely experience and I wished I was staying longer. It was the nicest way to start my trip to Hanoi.

There was loud music coming from somewhere in the neighbourhood early in the morning. Not sure if it was a one-off or a regular thing. Didn't bother me too much but might be annoying if you're a light sleeper.

The staff were very kind, cheerful and helpful. The building and the lobby was nice and the room was simple but much more than what I paid for that. So, thinking of the price, it's a really nice gateway to Hanoi for me because the flight from Japan gets there past midnight and it's really close to the airport!

The way the water was drained from the sink seemed so slow but we figured out later that when the angle of the plug of the sink is a bit tilted, it doesn't drain smoothly. And the way we are supposed to use the toilet was something different from the style in most other countries; we are NOT supposed to throw the toilet paper in the toilet and flush because it stops the water flow.

Location is the biggest advantage of this hotel. If you land late at night, you can easily just take a grab or taxi for fair price and be fast in your bed. Location I would maybe not recommend for longer stay, because it's kind of nowhere. Host is very kind and helpful, we asked for a transport to Trang An (Ninh Binh) and he just organized the bus, pick us up to the bus stop and wait with us until the bus comes. Room was clean, which is not so common in Vietnam :)

Nothing I expected, all was fine

Great place to stay if you have an early morning flight. The host organised pick up from the city centre to the hotel for a good price, in a very comfortable car. Room was big and very clean, big television with YouTube, check-in took 2 minutes tops. The transfer to the airport took about 5 minutes door to door in the morning. Just to be aware there is no breakfast in the early morning (I was at the airport foe 6.30am)

Absolutely perfect! Very new, very clean, very comfortable, super tasty breakfast. Loved everything about this place & totally recommend it to anyone who needs to be close to the airport! Best decision I made, rather than get up early & go straight to the airport. The night before I took a bus there, which stops just 10 mins away for 9K, & then walked to the airport the next morning (15 mins). Super convenient. Such a shame that it’s by the airport, would have loved to stay here during my time in Hanoi.

Family Transit Hotel is wonderful!! Facilities were extremely clean, room was beautiful with a great view, and the location was a very convenient 10 minute walk from the Noi Bai airport. The hotel also offers delicious food! Breakfast and dinner were ready very quickly, and it was so convenient to be provided food without having to leave the hotel. The best part were the staff. They are a family business where every person adds to the comfort and enjoyment of the customers. They were very gracious, eager to accommodate, open late to let us check in from our 11pm flight, and very kind. I only wish I spoke more Vietnamese so I could thank them better!
