Stayed here on a Saturday night since it's walking distance to Sunset Blvd restaurants and the Echo where we were seeing a show. The room was totally adequate for that purpose! Very affordable and convenient with free parking. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, updated / renovated interior. Definitely glad we chose Lexmar over the Motel 6 or Comfort Inn.

Walls were a little thin, so we could hear a group in the next room partying until 2am, but nothing the fan / AC unit couldn't drown out.

The room was very clean, comfy, and big. The windows are completely soundproof, so we could enjoy our time quietly. There is an ice machine on the balcony, which helps you to enjoy your drinks more. The staff was helpful too. Echo park is very close by, it was a pleasant surprise. The whole property is 100% smoke-free, which we LOVED, since neither of us smokes.

It's not about the property but just be prepared that the local bus rides are unpredictable, hectic, and very often very late. Also, there is no kitchen or laundry room, but you will have a microwave and a fridge—without a freezer.

At first glance, the neighborhood seems drab, but it's actually a great location - just a few steps up to the heart of Echo Park with lots of restaurants. It's also only an 8 minute drive to downtown LA. The staff is friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean. We thought it would be louder, but the rooms were quiet. It's about a 2 mile walk to Dodger Stadium - which is very worth it due to the notoriously bad traffic. It was a good find and we were really happy with this hotel!

The soap dispenser was broken and no toiletries were provided; that said, I'm sure we could have requested them. It's a more basic motel - but still clean and quiet.

I liked the way the staff and front desk was very helpful and understanding and caring of our needs. The room was clean but definitely needed dusting and wiping on the counters and table tops . The location of this hotel was very busy and a lot of traffic in and out . It was close to Sunset Blvd , and a lot of areas , so , that was a plus . The Dodger Stadium is close by too , but , not in walking distance . But , if you take a Lyft , it is a good price range , from about $10 -$15 , to the Super 8 hotel location . It kind of depends though on what night , and during what event might be going on at that time too? We went to see Black Pink in concert on 8/26 /23 , and We walked from the Dodger Stadium to the Super 8 Hotel and then we got a Lyft to our hotel , back to the Lexmar ! We definitely are booking at the Super 8 next time , if we are going to the Dodger Stadium 🏟 again for any event !

I love the location it's right by the bus stop no.2 and no 4 and the staff are all great. The local shops and cafes are all a stones throw away.

There is nothing to complain about. It's on a busy road so expect loud traffic and potential works in the night. But the AC windows shut its quiet and cool in the room.

Not far away from city center, close to public transport, food and drinks available nearby, coin laundry close by, target in the walking range, cleaning service daily if needed, microwave in the room, spacious room, more on the motel side but great experience. Very friendly staff - they let us check in before the originally set time, ice cube machine outside the rooms and vending machine also. Very nice area.

Shower head not adjustable, cleaning service okay - but could be cleaner.

I liked that the receptionist was very nice and gave me second floor per my request. She was super nice, I miss this customer service in many hotels these days. Also, the room was clean and had everything like iron, hair dryer, plenty of towels.

no grocery store or any vendor machine nearby. I used Uber all the time. Also on my second night (around 3 am) I heard the noise from my trash bin I am still not sure what was inside...I threw my water bottle in it to make sure it's not a rat/mouse but the noise continued. I had to take this trash bin and put outside of my room.

We liked everything about the Lexmar! The area is a beautiful location. The food in the area is some of the best we have ever had in our lives! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and approachable. Did I mention that the are is absolutely amazing. We did not want to leave the Lexmar. Amazing people, beautiful, safe, and peaceful environment. The Lexmar will definitely be our go to from here on out, for every visit. We absolutely love the Lexmar!

Nothing! Everything was top of the line. There is absolutely nothing for us to complain about! We truly appreciate the staff for being so kind to us. They worked really hard to make our stay pleasant.

The room was clean. The staff was very nice and very helpful. It is very easy to check in and checkout. You can check in any time. There is always someone.

Room size was little bit small. Although room was very close to the downtown of the LA, but I did not find good connection. I need to book UBER always.

Location was perfect for my needs and the free parking was appreciated. Room was simple but clean and had everything I needed for 2 nights. Person at the front desk was very helpful.

The walls are extremely thin and the neighbors were noisy all night. Traffic going by is also very loud.
