Access to the beach. We were a family of 15, spread over 4 suites. Ideal to have 2 bedroom suites for the larger families.

Our taxi driver dropped us at the lower level. There was no one to tell us where to go. We went to a central check in and were told we needed to be on the next level up, to check in. We had 7 young children and travelled for 20 hours. Wasn't a good start.

The property was awesome!! If one of the several pools didn’t take your fancy, the beach & lagoon are literally a walk through the resort. The towel facility is brilliant - exchange your yellow card for a beach or pool towel and when you’re done take it back and collect your yellow card for the next day. No need to wash or bring back sand to the apartment. We had a partial sea view two bedroom apartment with cooking facilities, which slept 5 adults also had a sofa bed if needed could have slept another couple. Two bathrooms, two toilets & washer/dryer also made it easy to have fresh clothes everyday despite having packed plenty. Plenty of eateries on the property to choose from with lots of atmosphere. Lots of shops also. If you don’t mind a short walk it’s was very close to Ala Moana & Luxury Row, The Army Museum and lots of adjoining properties with bars and food. Wish we stayed a few more days just to enjoy the beach some more. (No photos of the room but it is as advertised)

Great facilities in the resort for all ages as well as beautiful pool/spa and gym in the hotel itself. Plenty of restaurants catering for wide variety of tastes as well as budget. Teenage girls had a some much fun but we felt they were safe at all times. The kitchen and laundry in our suite made it even better as we did not have run around looking for laundry mats. Most of the buses and trams stoped outside the hotel which made it easy to get around without a car.

Nothing as we had no complaints whilst staying.

We had a workers strike on while we were there, it slightly took away from the stay but we didnt miss out on anything when we needed something the hotel dint hesitate

The high dollar amount card authorisation held on my credit card, it is a lot higher than the amounts held in Australia

The location and the resort were absolutely amazing. On Friday nights they put on fireworks and the atmosphere is out of this world. Our tower at the resort was stunning, it must have been the newest one. If I ever visit Honolulu again, I would come back to this resort in a heartbeat.

The beds were not super comfortable.

Proximity to areas of interest in the island. Clean, top notch service by lobby personnel. Shout out for Shizu, Emy and Ayako who did a wonderful experience at check in and out

There are differences between rooms. I guess I liked more the room in floor 11 than that of floor 32.

The property is massive, but has great amenities. It is great for families because it has the lagoon, tons of convenient restaurants and abc stores, and is in an excellent location. The grand islander also has really big units, great customer service and cleaning service.

NO CONVIENIENT PARKING OR VALET TRIED TO SELL ME A TIMESHARE (scam)

the cleanliness and location close to a lot of amenities and restaurants, and most especially beach access.

Too many tourists and the time it took to check in. Also was unclear where to check in. Wasted an hour at the main lobby which would have been nice to have clearer directions where to check in.
