Staff are very friendly, good location and good breakfast, and spacious rooms. The rooms and the entire hotel is very clean and it's located in a very quite area. Staff were very supportive when I was unwell on one of the days during my stay and they ensured that I had everything that needed. Would like to say thank you to the member of staff (forgot the name) and the chef who came to my room to check if I needed anything. I will defiantly come back again.

I was booked for 7 nights and on the third day of my stay, i noticed cockroaches in my room. I informed ladies in the reception that I had seen some cockroaches in my room and nothing was done about it. I also informed a gentlemen who contacted me on one of the evening to check if had settled in well and he said he would look into it and nothing was done or any effort made to change my room.

I last stayed here in 2000. It has had a lot of refurbishment since, and added extra facilities, although I didn't use any of them - gym, conference centre etc. Swimming pool was good. Staff were great. Location is a short taxi ride from the centre of Bulawayo - which is nice to walk around and explore. Aircon worked fine, they had butter at breakfast, whereas the Holiday Inn in Harare didn't. Stayed 2 separate nights, and was "upgraded" on the second night, although not sure that there was much difference.

It is a shame that they got rid of the Spur restaurant in their refurbishment as I remember this fondly.

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is lovely.

We felt the cleaning could be done to a higher standard. The bathroom mostly. The basin and bath tubs need thorough cleaning. There were brown patches that could be removed with correct cleaning materials.

Bathroom tub too small, can't even shower properly. It would be better if they can get rid of the tubs and leave showers only. Breakfast is way too expensive , 30 US Dollars that's a complete rip off. I stayed there for 5 nights meaning I would have spent 150 Dollars on breakfast only for one person. Please can you revise these ridiculous prices.

Great place located very close to the City Centre and still well run. Staff very friendly and welcoming. This is an example of what a top establishment should be like. Food from the restaurant is varied and we'll prepared to cater for every taste.

Unfortunately our room 231 was close to the Ascot shopping centre where one night the generator from the shopping center was running until the following morning which wasn't conducive for a good night's rest.

The staff professionalism and honesty, for example, I forgot my camera when I checked out, and the hotel tried to reach me severally to alert me.

I believe the breakfast options can be varied to make it more interesting, especially after having it a couple of times.

The hotel is exceptional. Staff were beyond friendly and went an extra mile. They had 2 double beds in the room which allowed us to use two rooms comfortably with 2 adults and 2 kids in each room. We were also given rooms next door to each other as requested. They had an ice machine for guests in the corridor by the rooms which was very helpful and a bar fridge in the room. After breakfast (which was excellent!) the manager offered us a takeaway bag full of baked goodies for the road.

The place was clean and served lovely food. On top of that the staff made my husband's birthday extra special gave him a card , cake they sang for him .Really appreciated everyone there management and staff for going extra mile for us unplanned thank you .
