The staff were very friendly and helpful Very very clean hotel lots of work is put in for cleanliness which is easy to see Free sunbeds was a huge bonus for value for money, also the beach was a lot quieter than other parts of the beach which was appreciated for relaxation The restaurant food was very good, great value for money also

Breakfast was ok, there was some variety but there were very few hot options, and it became repetitive Location felt a little tricky for tours and it wasn’t easy to get to Tirana for more tour options but we made it work The air conditioner felt a little dated, it was slow starting taking much time for the room to cool, it did become cold but it took time. Also when cleaning the room the curtains and bathroom door would be left open which made the room hotter when coming back to it If you didn’t go to the pool to claim a sunbed early each morning you would find towels on all of the sunbeds which were often unused until the afternoon

Love it here… “Vila Belvedere” is a small “Paradise” at “Shkëmbi i Kavajës”… beautiful ambiance, surrounded by exotic flowers, local trees, palms and giant Bougainvilles… … 2 minutes walk to the Beach in the front of the Hotel… wonderful staff that goes out of their way to make your stay memorable! New-Huge-Pool… and deck… Hotel is re-done inside-out… All rooms are different… this boutique Hotel has so much character… everywhere is so clean, safe, quite… with low voice pleasant music… Free armchairs for the beach and pool… wonderful-free breakfast, with endless variety of products, served under the trees, by the pool or inside, in elegant tables with white-crisp table cloths… Amazing food, either sophisticated Italian cuisine, or/and traditional-wonderful Albanian plates… Beautiful Cocktails… wines & beers, espresso bar… like the Best… homemade breads, homemade ice creams & desserts… that taste “out of this world”…! Spacious, easy, safe, super clean-free parking… I can’t stop counting the good qualities of this Amazing place! Thank You Vila Belvedere!

Nice place, I liked the authentic style (a lot of woodware in the room) and it makes one more impression of the travel to Albania. Kind and lovely personnel, family management style. I visit hotel in the end of season, so there were calm and comfortable. It costs its money, and the portions in restaurant a-la-carte big and tasty.

Need to walk though the bridge over the highway to get the hotel from the beach, but it's not far away.

I was very pleasantly surprised. Although a little out dated but this was also part of the charm from our Albanian hosts. 1. It included non-stressful parking 2. Big surpise was included reserved area on the beach. We had 2 pay 2 Euro to rent beach towel which was well informed and appriciated. 3. Pool and restaurant really cool. And dinner food was excellent ( ala carte) 4. We paid in high season 128 Euro for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 11/14 inc breakfast). Remember u pay in life for what you get. We stayed 4 nights and left really relaxed. 5. Rooms clean we had 1 double and they added 2 singles. We put all together. 😀 Small walk over the bridge to the sea front. All the staff were very helpful and proud to work there. All spoke perfect English.

We had the most amazing time at Vila Belvedere, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Albania. Our room was on the 3rd floor, with plenty of space, a top-notch bathroom, and a very nice balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the Adriatic Sea. The food was superb, both the open-buffet breakfast in the mornings, and the dinners by the pool. We had the seafood salad with octopus, squid, and calamari, and it's worth coming back for sure! The staff members were all very kind and friendly. Our receptionist Vanesa was exceptionally helpful in all our inquiries regarding our stay and sightseeing. Vila Belvedere is the perfect option to indulge in the Adriatic Sea and the Mediterranean sun, without having to pay a fortune. Would absolutely recommend!

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but I'd suggest they organise shuttle services for the customers wishing to go to Durres or Tirana Airport, so that the taxi fares are lower per person. I would also suggest that they put their own menus in the rooms instead of the Bamboo Restaurant, as the hotel's own kitchen's food is much better than the Bamboo Restaurant. A perfect stay otherwise<3

Beautiful pool and garden area. Good food at the restaurant for good prices. Nice and helpful staff. Close to the beach with private sunchairs but a more authentic experience with a little more privacy from the general tourism.

The breakfast was ok, but the eggs were honestly horrible. Either overcooked and plasticky or undercooked and watery, which unfortunately meant that half of the breakfast buffet wasn’t up to standard. Quite thin walls and we had neighbours who stayed up partying, but shouldn’t be a problem if you have normal people who respect hotel manners in the room next door. Staff were kind to tell them to quiet down upon request and for our last night there was no problem.

I’m really glad that Hotel Vila Belvedere was my choice. Our first impression with the reception desk was really positive and we felt welcomed. The girls were super friendly and super attentive. They spoke english fluently so it was really easy to communicate with them. We check-in early so that’s a plus for this property. The team kept a note for everything we requested. Our room was spacious, really clean and with a very unique interior. We also tried the hotel’s restaurant. The staff was ready to help us with suggestions and we really enjoyed our meal. Also the refreshing coctails by the pool bar are a must! Lastly but not least, the pool area was the hotel’s charm. The greenery made this area really calming and enjoyable. The water was in a great temperature. We also had the sunbeds in the beach included and it only took us 3 minutes to get there. If by any chance you are planning to visit Durres this is the best place to stay.

The room was very clean and very big. The bathroom clearly was just renovated. The room had a nice, working ac. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was still very quiet because it is an out of season. The pool area was lovely and surrounded by greenery. The breakfast was varied, and everything was tasty. Getting to the beach does require you to go through an overpass, but it is super easy to do it and it is only a couple of minutes of a detour. Staying on this side of the road was considerably cheaper, too.

The road noise. But generally, the whole strip is by a motorway so you can’t do too much about it. When the windows in the room are closed you can’t hear the road.

location- very nice, close enough to everything, but you have to cross the highway on a bridge on your way to and from the beach. the rooms +partially refurbished, kind of the mix of the pics we seen on booking (at the time of august 2023), but it wasn’t disappointing as everything is VERY clean, we got fresh towels and bedding when needed, trash cans were emptied every day. the bed is comfortable, pillows are also nice and there’s some extra in the closet. wi-fi is fast and reliable. hair&body wash was provided, body lotion wasn’t, would have been nice to have. the pool and beach - beach towel is provided by the hotel, which is a very big plus! pool is surprisingly clean and cool, has floor levels for swimming and chilling too. sunbeds are comfortable. the hotel has a private beach area with sunbeds and umbrellas included, very nice and cozy. the staff - at the reception everyone is very nice and accommodating, very quick to help with anything. at the restaurant and pool bar everyone is polite as well, we had no problem at all. cleaning ladies are also very nice and friendly the food - standard buffet breakfast, nothing fancy but everything is alright.

the curtain doesn’t cover every part of the window, so there’s always a bit where the sun shines through once the sun rises. the doors also pretty thin, you can hear everyone walk/talk past on the corridor. there is no safe box in the room (but stuff can be deposited at the manager’s safe as we were informed). also the sea view isn’t very a sea view as there are buildings in front of the hotel. no menu for the cocktails at the pool area

The property is nice , with a swimming pool, a bar by the pool and very affordable prices for lunch or dinner at the hotel . Food is great , buffet breakfast quite nice , with lots of options to choose from , except for the coffe that aren’t great and there isn’t an option lactose free or vegan for milk . Friendly and helpful staff , especially Vanesa - receptionist, and Ana - waiter . Beach Towels included in price - with a private beach and subbeds included too - shame that to get to the sea you have to cross an horrific bridge, not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo. Parking free included too.

Swimming pool water very cold and not very clean .
