This was a great location and view and the room was very comfortable. We were informed we were visiting in the very (very!) offseason which was clear with the low occupancy. So we had great service, got to choose our breakfast off the menu and had fun surprises (like a bottle of wine) left in the room. The bed was so comfortable and cozy.

Amenities were decent - would have loved to be able to use the pool even in the 'off season' had it been heated ;)

We liked pretty much everything about this hotel. The rooms are bright, clean, comfortable and the view we had over the bay across to Corfu was spectacular. Despite being right in the heart of Sarande, the hotel was suitably sound proofed and night time noise wasn’t an issue at all. The absolute best feature of this hotel is without a doubt the manager, Albi, and his team who went out of their way at every opportunity to make our stay the best it could be. Special thanks goes out to Wendi in reception, our font of local knowledge and a truly lovely person. We initially booked for 9 nights but loved the hotel and Sarande so much that we extended by several days, and we look forward to a return visit!

Having to go home

In a quiet location just off the main road in Sarande. Rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. We had a room with balcony from which we could see across the bay to the town on the far side. On site parking was a bonus. Breakfast was filling. Omellettes were made to order plus there was bread, fresh fruit, salad, yoghurt and sweetstuff. Breakfast was served on the rooftop of the hotel with a lovely view of the sea. Staff were very friendly and attended to every need. Lovely shop across the road to buy drinks and snacks. Restaurant on the seafront itself served the most beautiful, tasty food, had amazing staff and was open until about 11pm.

Sadly, as it was low season, the hotel bar and restaurant were closed. Sarande seafront also had most outlets closed but we did manage to find a couple of places to eat nearby, though one of them closed early.

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Julia, I was impressed by its warm ambiance, attentive service, and charming elegance. Nestled in a perfect location — close to major attractions yet tucked away enough to provide peace and quiet — Hotel Julia is a true sanctuary for travelers seeking both comfort and convenience. The staff were outstanding: friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure my stay was memorable. Every interaction felt personal, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Check-in was seamless, and I was warmly welcomed with helpful local tips and a sincere smile.

Good location, super close to a small beach with free sun beds if you buy food/drink from the restaurant, short walk to esplanade. Nice pool. Everything very new and clean. All the staff were lovely. Great breakfast with amazing views.

Our room seemed new but not finished yet as there were wires sticking out wall for tv, light fittings hanging down, no fixtures in bathroom to hang a towel. Also the bed was too soft for our liking but that could be personal preference. Request to pay in euros otherwise their currency conversion to lek is above going rate.

- location is incredibly good, near the promenade - view is breathtaking from the room and rooftop breakfast restaurant - delicious breakfast and... man, those pancakes! - accepts card payment, free supervised parking - staff is very friendly and the receptionist responded to all our needs, advised us about what to do, where to eat, she speaks very good English and is very professional - nice shower with high water pressure - room looks very nice and modern, although we missed having a chair in the room.

- no chair in the room, but we did have 2 chairs on the balcony, so it was fine after all. - no shower gel, only hand wash and shampoo, but we had our own shower gel anyway.

A Hidden Gem in Sarandë – Absolutely Perfect! I had the most wonderful stay at Julia Hotel in Sarandë and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The hotel itself is modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. My room was spacious and cozy, with a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. Waking up to that view each morning was a dream. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and the port. Yet it’s peaceful enough that you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. It really strikes the perfect balance. Breakfast was a delight every morning, with fresh local ingredients, traditional Albanian flavors, and enough variety to keep things interesting. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. Julia Hotel is a true gem in Sarandë. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or just to explore the Albanian Riviera, this hotel is a perfect base. I will absolutely be back!

The suite room was lovely and spacious smashing balcony with fabulous views Bed was huge and very comfortable Shower was powerful and toiletries replenished spa bath in room was excellent addition it was very clean A pleasure to eat breakfast on top floor which was pleasant and plenty of variety Close proximity to the sea front restaurants and bars a plenty

I wouldn’t say I disliked anything although it was very loud outside loud music till the early hours from the entertainment around no fault of hotel But rooms are not totally sound proof
