We stayed 27 June for 3 nights. Given the initial reviews about the hotel not being finished we were a little worried, however, we were reassured and were really glad we continued with our stay. The hotel is really beautiful, gorgeous pool, fab view, lovely rooms too. Staff were very hospitable. Breakfast was eggs (cooked your preferred way) with tomatoes, cucumber and sausage, however on our final day it was a buffet breakfast with lots of choice!…which was much better (not sure if it was a weekend thing or they plan to carry this forward). Shuttle to the beach is really handy. The spot with (very comfortable) beds is slightly to the south of the main Dhërmi beach, there is a beach restaurant/bar nearby which we really enjoyed to. Do be sure to visit the other local beaches too as they are prettier.

Just not a 10 yet as there is still work to complete on the hotel, but this shouldn’t spoil your stay. (Can’t comment on the evening meals as we didn’t eat there).

The property was newly done up and had a very nice and modern interior! The rooms were very modern and comfortable and had good air con! The hotel was clearly still under reconstruction and it looked like it had plenty of potential! I bet it will look great after it is all completed!

The hotel didn’t have a working pool and the eating area was still partly wrapped up in film as it was new! We understand the pressures of a new hotel, but we were left with a below par experience due to having no pool and no real hospitality atmosphere or service and to still be challenged for a 10% discount was disappointing, which we still didn’t receive! The hotel was careless which also was an issue.

We stayed at the new building and were amongst the first guests. Everything was new and there were a few details to be finished still which does not lower the overall great experience. The room was cosy and the mattress was comfortable. Denis and his team of staff are very professional. The hotel also offers buggy rides to and from their private beach with comfortable beach loungers and umbrellas. Just as a suggestion to the hotel to offer tote-bags with a beach towel to guests for an extra experience. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Lovely new hotel with great facilities perched high on the hill. Location is a little inconvenient to town, but golf buggies to take you to and from beach and centre are available (during certain hours at €1 per ride). Breakfast is lovely continental and includes choice of cooked eggs. The views from the restaurant are spectacular. Other facilities such as the gym are available but we did not use. We had a deluxe sea view room on the 3rd floor and loved the views and balcony area. The room itself is very small with no draws for clothing and only a small hanging space with a couple of hangers provided. We had to leave most our belongings in our cases for the 3 nights. Great block out curtains with control next to bed.

No draws to store clothing in room. Bed average comfort. Transport to/from beach/town would have been great to not have gaps in service. No shower screen on the door so water spills out everywhere, floor gets soaked.

The room was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you might possibly need. We only stayed one night and were given a room with a jacuzzi “just because”. Staff were very helpful and proactive in providing information. We arrived 3 hours before check in and the room wasn’t ready yet, but they let us leave the car in their parking lot and use the hotel facilities for the evening while we waited for our room. A special thanks goes to the restaurant staff who were just incredible and did everything in their power to make us happy - from late night snacks to in-room breakfast delivery.

Beautiful hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. I stayed for Ion festival but didn’t want to be right on the beach where the festival was happening. This was the perfect location to be able to relax away from it all, but just a few minutes on the golf buggy to the beach. The view from my room overlooking the pool and beach was stunning. They have a lovely pool bar which plays cool music all day and serves up tasty food and drinks. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of variety and the pasties were sooo good! They have a little private beach right beside the super cool Havana beach club which they will take you to on the golf buggy, it takes around 7-10min on the buggy, then they collect and bring you back when you’re ready. Would 110% return to black diamond hotel.

Rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast is great and relatively rich. They offer transfer service to the beach/promenade area.

The location is far from the main issue of the village, and if you want to use their transport service after 19, for dinner as an example, the price of this service increase dramaticly. You can always take your car and to pay around 5 € for parking. For some reason, they didn't have butter in breakfast (only margarine, which is less healthy and very 80's)

The hotel was a pleasure to stay in. The room was really spacious and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights for a festival down in Dherbi beach and found the property to be a perfect sanctuary outside of the festival. Staff was really nice & the views were a great bonus. The pool was also great with comfortable day beds and beautiful views. Due to being located on a hill, it was great to have the golf cart shuttles that take you down to the beach & back for a reasonable price.

We were really excited to see that there was a restaurant on property, as there aren't any food options within quick walking distance. Unfortunately the restaurant on property operates as a separate entity, it was extremely understaffed and slow. They are also cash only which made it a bit more challenging, but the food was great outside of that.

The staff made this a brilliant stay. We had a lot of support from Dennis and the front desk helped us with our check in, stay and requests. The golf buggy down to the beach is a really unexpected touch. The view was phenomenal and the room was great with a nice balcony area.

I loved the market they had lots of snacks and no need to go to other markets in town. They had a system with the transportation to the beach which was efficient and very easy only one euro per person. Eraldi, Ernest were very professional, Hekurani made amazing cocktails. Definitely will come to visit Black Diamond again. (P.s the housekeeping ladies were very polite and nice, the room was very clean)
