Our family stayed 7 nights at Rapos Resort and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located in a quiet part of Himare, surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains, Himare town, and the Ionian Sea. The territory around the resort is green, clean, and very well maintained, creating a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. The reception staff were hospitable, helpful, and very friendly. Some previous reviews mentioned that the rooms are dated and could use an update. I would agree to some extent, but this didn’t affect our overall experience. Most rooms face the sea, so from a higher floor you can enjoy sweeping views of the mountains, town, and sea — or capture a beautiful sunset. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the rest of the facilities were spotless — from the restaurant with its buffet offering a good variety of choices, to the large outdoor pool with comfortable sun loungers, and the kind, respectful staff around the pool area. Guests also had the option to join a yoga session or kids’ football activity. The resort’s private beach is just a short walk away and offers sun loungers, a beach bar, and a restaurant. Transfer buggies to the beach are available on request. The beach is clean and well maintained, and the crystal-clear water makes swimming a delight — though water shoes are recommended. While the resort’s restaurant offers a dinner menu, the choice of dishes is limited. If prices were more in line with nearby restaurants, it would likely attract more guests; as it stands, most people, including us, preferred dining out. The resort is within walking distance of the lively area of Himare, where you can find plenty of restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. Overall, I would recommend Rapos Resort to anyone looking for a mix of beach and pool time in a quieter, greener setting.

The location is perfect, 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from loads of restaurants. The pool and the sunbeds are great. The staff are fantastic and so helpful, Lirin, Matteo and Seme did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The drinks are well priced. The Playground is cute and in the shade, and there are tortoises wondering around. The family room we had was great, as were the views.

Not much! perhaps not the most stylish with the decor but very comfortable. The breakfast buffet isn’t as fancy as some hotels but is perfectly nice. There is no water in the rooms.

Our stay was simply exceptional! The staff made us feel super welcome. Especially at the reception, the pool bar (Esmeralda and the amazing cocktail barman), the beach restaurant (Ben) and the buggy drivers. Always super kind and keen to help. The cleaning lady also made extra efforts to make sure all was good for us and the accommodation was super clean. The location was great with the beach super close by and very nice restaurants around. The beach was super clean.

The rooms could do with a renovation, but it seems planned for next year. The pool could do with a pool robot.

Pool was absolutely gorgeous, big pool, clean and has a small diving board. Comfortable beds (and always available) by the pool. Free buggy to the beach club, and free use of beds there. Hotel is quite clean. Staff friendly and polite.

This is not a 5* hotel by any means. If you go with that in mind you will have a nice stay. Room - children’s hand print on the window (we didn’t have children travelling with us) and half used toiletries left for us in the room. They forgot to give us towels and we had to ask twice for them. Furniture is very tired and no robe/slippers as you would expect in a 5* hotel. Breakfast was ok, but it was very much luck as to whether your “hot” items would be hot or not, probably the breakfast you’d expect at a 3* hotel.

Fantastic staff, everyone was extremely warm and would go out of their way to be helpful. The pool was great and looked beautiful with the mountains in the background. The property had its own spot on the beach which is only a short walk from the property. Beach had the most beautiful clear water and there wasn’t many other tourists in May while we were here which made it nice and peaceful. Beach bar was underdevelopment during our stay but it wasn’t necessary for us

One night there was very loud music during as there appeared to be a function hosted by the hotel however it didn’t go on very late

It seems to be the best hotel in entire Himara. It is located close to the beach (only 150 m) and both the garden of the hotel and the beach itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is polite and kind, does their job in a very professional way. We really liked the clean, large pool, the comfortable sunbeds, and the sea is also very clean. Breakfast was delicious. You can experience the high quality in the whole area of the hotel.

The only negative aspect I could mention is the price in the restaurant. We chose to eat outside instead because the prices of the dishes here is extremely high, you can eat almost half of these prices in the town. Another thing could be the lack of counter desk or shelves in the bathroom which we would have been able to put our stuffs on.

Staff was helpfull and hardworking people. Beach was clean and relaxing. Airconditioning was OK. Room was clean. Just the beds were a bit too soft for our like. If you are a firm-bed person you will find it discomfort to sleep there.

Some child safetty issues, for example the balcony door couldnt lock properly. And there was a taped wire in a wall in Balcony. Yeah, it was tapped but still when you are with a kid you get worried. Pool was nice but a cleaning of the pool more often would be helpful. Hotel's restaurant was a bit pricey comparing with others in the area but there are plenty of restaurant options outside.

The service was amazing. The staff from the restaurants to the beach was incredible. Always taking care of us and making sure we were happy and comfortable. Especially Ingrid, who was the best!! He was very attentive and took great care of us. This is my friends and I third time there and we will definitely be going back to Rapos again!

Large area for loungers on the beach was a huge plus for us, it was easy to find a seat around 10am or even later, even in August. They have fresh towels for the sunbeds and pool. The beach bar is relatively affordable considering you are at a hotel. Around 8-900LEK for cocktails. We loved the rooftop bar, great music, cocktails and view of the sunset. It's a shame it wasn't busier! Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was nice and clean. Pool was huge and lots of places to sit :)

Only comment is that the furniture was quite large and bulky, felt like it took up a lot of the space in the room, particularly the large bed frame which blocks the walkway and you can easily bump your legs into which is not ideal... Breakfast could be better, no toaster, had to ask for toast which felt like a hassle. Eggs were overcooked as placed in a heat tray.. not many hot food options and plenty of cured meats and cheese.

We liked everything about Rapo's hotel. It has an excellent location, the best food: the fish we had on the first day was cooked perfectly well and tasted out of this world. The sea, swimming pool, and rooms are all very good! The smiles of the stuff and their dedication to each and every customer make Rapo's an excellent place to enjoy summer in Albania. We enjoyed the short rides with the buggies to the beach and back and the nice, small talks with the two young drivers.
