Our room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is located in a very nice place, surrounded by greenery, so it is very peaceful and relaxing. Special thanks to Felix who was extremely kind and always smiling.

The pool was dirty, full of leaves and insects. Guests were cleaning the pool themselves with a net and the employee would stand on the side and watch them. Inadmissible! Cocktails at the pool bar are overpriced considering the quality of the ingredients they are made from. They are so bad! The toilet in our room was flooded on several occasions and we only got a Whatsapp message from the reception saying they were sorry and no one would even come to change our towels which were wet all over the floor. Also, taxi service is great, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering a taxi through the reception. We ordered it a night before for the trip and taxi was over a half an hour late. When you contact them directly they come within minutes.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Staff at reception, bar and restaurant were friendly and helpful although we were asked to use what's app for everything including booking a table at the restaurant which seemed a bit over the top - surely reception can deal with that? We did the free bike tour which was fun.

The hotel is fairly remote from town and we did not have a car so we needed to get a taxi to go anywhere - walking is not possible on the roads and given the distance from town. Food in the restaurant was so, so. We were there on a bank holiday weekend so the pool area was very busy and there was some sort of pool party going on which was pretty noisy and not our scene but other guests seemed to really enjoy it.

We had a pleasant stay at the Virgin Lodge. The room was beautiful, Wifi perfect, the jungle view amazing and the Location great for visiting the cataratas. Also the free Flora and Fauna tour was a great experience. 100% recommendation. We had a rental to visit the water falls, which we would recommend. Also going out in the evening is easier with a car.

There are many families visiting the hotel, so we had many kids jumping around the pool. This is something people should consider if they want a peaceful vacation. Also the fact that the Pool is located directly next to the restaurant makes it sometimes a little bit hectic. We did not like that there was no shower near the Pool. There was quite an oil film on the water at the end of the day and as the kids never left the pool we were thinking about the amount of urin that was probably in the water. So a shower would be great. Other than that we always heard water in the wall circulating to the AC and the wooden doors in the bathroom did not close

We enjoyed everything about this property. It is in a spectacular location; tranquil and picturesque. The systems at the hotel were great - booking taxis to Iguazu Falls and the airport were really easy, dinner reservations made in an instant through the hotel WhatsApp, enquiries answered within seconds via the hotel WhatsApp. Swimming pool area was lovely. Restaurant and bar really good.

If we had to choose anything it would be that, by local standards, things are slightly more pricey (food, wine, mini bar, taxis) because of remote location and therefore being a captive audience.

The room was absolutely amazing we had the deluxe and it was well worth it! Felt like luxury. Nice pool area could always get a bed and they provide towels. Drinks were a little expensive 11,000 pesos for a pina colda but it was so good. The breakfast was a good selection. Good at lunch in the restaurant wouldn’t recommend but the dinner was a lot better! Not walkable to the town easily we got a taxi but it was very quick and easy. We used eco Iguazu for a tour company to visit the falls and this hotel was good as due to its pocket on you are the last ones to get picked up each day on the tour so don’t go around all the hotels.

Rooms were absolutely wonderful. I loved that the green spaces weren’t cut down to be come ugly grass, but matched the jungle / forest outside the hotel

Even though the dinner menu had a vegan food section, the waiters weren’t aware of it, nor were they familiar with the concept. The translations were misleading. The breakfast buffet is extensive and great in itself, but hard to navigate for people with dietary restrictions or allergies, because the food is not labelled. When I asked the staff for ingredients, they just shrug with their shoulders.

Nice hotel! Very nice pool good for relaxing at after going to Iguazu Falls. The hotel is located outside of town in the jungle, it’s a beautiful setting but know that it is not walkable. We knew this from previous reviews and it was not an issue for us as we really enjoyed the restaurant and the bar. The day that we did venture out to dinner the hotel helped us find a cab there and back. Service at the bar and restaurant runs at a relaxed pace, if you are looking for a quick bite to eat you may want to consider a different option.

We stayed in the superior room which was super modern - really lovely, however felt like it needed a good clean and a bit of a spruce up. Things were falling apart and not working very well, and the air con had a very damp smell. All of our clothes smelt damp after staying here, but the room was lovely and big with good amenities. I would stay again.

The reception and dining area needed to be updated slightly, but we’re all fine, the main issue for us was the air con smell and the rooms being a little unclean.

Bed was really comfortable. Location was lovely as you are in the middle of the jungle! Cleanliness of the room was good and these were also spacious.

Restaurant food wasn't very good, unfortunately. Breakfast spread was impressive but mainly cakes and sweet things. Only one hot option (eggs) for vegetarians. No options for vegans. Towels at the swimming pool seem to be quite old and shabby.

The new "apartment type rooms were amazing! High ceilings and spacious. Beautiful bathrooms and artwork. The service and breakfast was great! Every morning they remembered I was gluten free and brought me special bread. I love that is was in the jungle/rainforest, it was like being in nature but sleeping well! They have 3 daily activities like biking and nature walks. I would go back!

Lobby was a dated but there was plenty of other places to hang out. Sometimes taxis can take awhile to get into the jungle so get a taxi guys name and What's app with him or her and arrange times for pick up.
