Hotel Salta is a very good and highly recommended property ideally located in the center of Salta and close to all interesting historical sites on foot. It has an enclosed and absolutely safe parking lot offered by its guests. The breakfast is good, although lacking more diverse options. The hotel personnel is very welcoming and ready to help. Visitors to Salta will be happy with the choice of this hotel. The bonus of the rooms were the bathrooms that had a real shower hose, such a rare occurrence in Argentina as a whole and the possibility to use a room with desktop computers.

The details I disliked were the small size of the rooms and especially the small size of the double bed. Some noise experienced because of the limited insulation.

We were beyond satisfied with the stay at Hotel Salta.. the staff was excellent at the front desk and the restaurant. The breakfast that was included with our stay was fresh ,and very satisfying.The maid service was excellent. We couldn't recommend this hotel high enough.

The only negative was some of the guests that coughed in the dining area and never covered their mouth or nose.,but I couldn't fault this wonderful hotel for that

Very comfortable hotel with helpful staff. Classic architecture right on the main plaza in Salta. Great location. Good parking if you have a car. Great breakfast. Good restaurant as well that is open all day and not just after 8:00 pm like so many Argentine restaurants.

As with almost all older, classic hotels, the rooms are smaller than you would get in a modern, cookie-cutter hotel chain, but it really was comfortable and we really liked it. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was wonderful. The maids were extremely helpful. If you have rented a car it’s very easy to park in a secure place. Wifi is ok. The pool area is very pleasant.

It’s pretty tired. Like going back in time. Breakfast is just OK. In our first room (we stayed two nights and came back and stayed two more), the shower overflowed and flooded the bathroom because the shower and was too shallow to hold the water. Breakfast is only adequate. Pool is nice but sun beds are extremely uncomfortable.

The location could not have been better, it was right in the main square. The best of our stay was the staff, they were the kindest and most professional group of people, they were always a step ahead of our needs. Breakfast was good.

The room was a bit small. A desk would have been nice, it had a drawer taking up most of the available space instead. It had a room with a couple of desks and computers for us to use, so we were able to take zoom calls from that room anyways.

Everything! I stayed here for 3 nights and loved this place. It has such a charm and the rooms are extremely comfortable. I loved that the hotel had it owns parking and a restaurant as well. The overall service was fantastic and I felt like I was in a movie from the 1900s.. in a great way. I highly recommend staying here. The location is a must!!!

Extraordinary hotel. Beautifully designed and I should have upgraded my room. Room was good - comfortable but I think a view would have been nice. I suspect the higher rate rooms would be amazing. Very good staff who helped with everything. Safe parking which is handy given location right in the centre of town. Nice breakfast too.

I didn’t get to use the pool but it looked decent.

Right there! In the corner of the main plaza, walking distance from Museo Arqueologia, delicious restaurants, decadent coffee shops, Basilica and Convento de San Francisco! Guarded and safe parking, lovely swimming pool, nice staff, the mosaics and rooms give you a glimpse of past glorious times. Really nice to have breakfast overlooking center plaza.

Bathtub with an awkward window, bed not so comfy, breakfast could have more protein options and tablecloths need to be changed more frequently.

The location could not have been better! Great cafes and restaurants are nearby as well as the main historic sites. This is an old-fashioned hotel which I found charming but some people might want a more up-to-date bathroom, decor etc. The staff members were unfailingly helpful.

My room did not have a particularly pleasant view but I wasn’t in the room much anyway.
