Very comfortable room with modern and luxurious bathroom. The spacious veranda also provided another space to relax and enjoy the view. We liked the extra touches of complimentary breakfast items and quality bathroom products. Appreciated a good aircon.

I guess when you stay in a place above a pub you need to accomodate the sounds. The chairs scraping on the floor over the dinner period were a bit annoying but easily managed by watching tv/listening to music. All the sounds settled down by a reasonable hour.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. We had a bit of a storm coming in (bomb cyclone…) when we arrived at Bermagui, so it was raining uninterruptedly, but it was immediately apparent how gorgeous this place is. Beautiful coast line, natural salt water pools, amazing beaches, streets lined with palm trees. And the hotel was one pleasant surprise after another. Lovely people, lovely room with a view of the ocean, with absolutely everything you need, Nespresso machine, little sink and microwave, nice size fridge, complimentary fresh croissants, and we were able to get a great dinner at the bistro downstairs. The room itself was really well designed, as well as the balcony and bathroom, lots of wooden and natural stone features. We felt right at home straight away. Could have easily stayed here longer, but we were on a road trip to Melbourne, so it was just the one night.

Location is excellent and having the bistro booking for dinner after a long drive was very convenient. We had a sea view room overlooking the mountain and bay; loving when lying in bed. The croissants from the bakery were fresh; milk and muesli was provided; we brought yoghurt instead. The room was clean; quiet despite the pub being popular over the weekend and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had a good pressure but it is a small cubicle and also small bathroom. You just need to take it in turns! No problems with WiFi; off road parking or free opposite on the street. Receptionist was helpful and escorted us to the room. Fish and chips were good in the bistro; a separate area to the popular bar. Alcohol could be bought to take away or drink in the bistro with an increased charge. It’s very close (walkable but an incline( to the blue pool swimming area which is worth a photo or swim. We saw seals playing in the waves. Parking available if you prefer to drive.

The hotel had left a book on pub crawls across Australia and one on Australian ballads in the room. It might be worth the hotel checking the content of the ballads especially the chapter entitled ‘Blacks’. The language was racist. We are sure this was unintentional on the part of the hotel.

The staff and reception were so lovely and friendly. She showed me to my room and did a quick rundown. Also, appreciated Leah calling up ahead of the office closing time to check in on where I was at, as I was running late to arrive. Loved the vibe on entering the room, with soft music playing, airconditioning on and ready, and the view or the mountain and sea. The croissant and muesli for breakfast was a lovely touch. Would have liked a little oven to toast it up and get it crunchy again but no biggie :) I really liked the decor and look of the motel room, very chill and relaxing! It was renovated with an industrial touch combined with retaining beautiful historic elements (loved the bathroom tiles!) that give a sense of nostalgia - may not be appreciated by all but I did! :) The room was spacious will a long bench for luggage, hooks to hang jackets, chairs & table inside and on the balcony, and nice soft lighting. Note there’s a fridge but no enclosed freezer.

Outstanding location in centre of main street of a great little town and view directly onto foreshore. Beautifully renovated historic building. Outstanding room in relation to size, amenities and decor. The fresh croissants and cereal made for an excellent breakfast. Hotel was busy, friendly community atmosphere and had very good meals at normal prices. Lady who I booked with and who checked us in was so pleasant and helpful. Adequate off street parking. The ocean (Blue) pool was close, has a fascinating history and

The room and bathroom were impeccable and so tastefully put together, with all the small details thought of. Our balcony looking out on the ocean was just lovely and allowed us to sit and watch the sun go down while sipping a drop of wine. It was a huge and exceedingly comfortable bed and we slept very well. The room had a fridge and microwave, as well as a coffee machine, toaster and kettle. We were also provided delicious croissants and muesli with some milk, butter and jam - very thoughtful touches that made our stay perfect. The restaurant and bar downstairs are also convenient and add to the ease of staying in this beautifully restored building and updated rooms.

Gorgeous balcony room, with stunning location and views of the bay. Rooms have been refurbished and they are very comfortable and stylish. All amenities provided- including locally made croissants for breakfast!

Unfortunately there was an “incident in the kitchen” of the hotel during the night, and we had to evacuate our rooms at 0300 whilst 2 fire brigades came to investigate. This meant we struggled to get back to sleep after the all clear was given. Glad their fire systems worked, and appreciated managements call on Monday morning to offer a partial refund. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful bedroom with comfortable bed and nice linen. Also a new bathroom. Super location across from the beach. Croissants and muesli were an unexpected touch. Good bar and bistro with ocean views.

It was great, only thing for visitors to know is that there are very few dining options in town Mondays-Thursday in the off season. The room had a small fridge and microwave along with dishes and utensils for two but there was only one chair at a desk so eating for two people was awkward.

We did not stay in the beautiful rooms in the old part of the hotel but chose the more economical renovated 1970’s motel attached to hotel. We did not have great expectations but were so surprised when we entered the tastefully renovated room. Recommend an upstairs sea view room with lovely verandah. The renovation is a delight with so many thoughtful items included. Only met a few staff but they were helpful and friendly. Breakfast of muesli and croissants were provided in the room, very tasty. Would definitely stay again.

Shower has not been renovated but a minor issue.

It was beachfront in the Main Street,lovely room,comfy bed,added extra of fresh croissants from a top bakery and muesli,included.Decent sized milk too.Lovely helpful receptionist,and great pub food which never disappoints.

It was a bit noisy in the morning with activity happening right outside our door and thumping from above room,but no big deal.
