Everything about this stay was excellent. We remembered when we got there that we'd stayed there when our son was little, about 16 years ago. It had been excellent and we'll appointed then and it still is. All of the facilities and the utilities in the apartment have been carefully considered. They were all clean and good quality. The sheets and bed were comfortable and the towels were soft and big. Wifi was good and didn't drop out. We were only there for two nights this time, but when we are next in Bermagui, we'll definitely stay here longer. Ana was lovely and came over to welcome us on our first day. Check in was easy, even though we were a late booking, with the key easy to find and access to the apartment was straight forward.

Not a big deal for us, but our room didn't have a coffee plunger. That would have been great. It wasn't a deal breaker for us and we didn't ask about it. Seriously, the apartment was fantastic.

The apartment was everything you’d hope for in a holiday flat - well-appointed, clean, comfortable and quiet. The Anchorage is located a short walk (10-15 mins) from the shops and cafes of Bermagui, which is close enough to be convenient but well away from the street noise and traffic (such as it is in this small town). There’s a pool, bbq area and substantial laundry as well as an outdoor play area with swings and a trampoline for the kids. Everything is set up for a family holiday at the beach. This is a quality venue which we will return to without hesitation.

Two minor maintenance issues: the light in the range hood is not working and the dishwasher for some reason doesn’t dissolve the detergent tablets provided (perhaps they’re the wrong ones or the unit needs to be serviced).

Being a self contained unit with a full kitchen it was great, comfortable clean and easy check in, communication was good, big fluffy towels, great shower

The super loud footsteps heard all morning from people walking up and down the wooden stairs to the units upstairs started at 6am and it not only woke us up but kept us awake so we did not experience a relaxed well rested wake up vibe. Both rooms heard this distinctively so seems a poor designed, a rubber floor runner might prevent this for future guests. The unit was clean but unfortunately we had a white tailed spider in one bedroom and a wolf spider in the second bedroom both spotted crawling around our bed. We were not able to log into our netflix account on the tv, it did not open it just constantly cycled, this might possibly be a result of the very slow wifi.

The location was great only a short drive into the shopping area. Unit was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable.

DIRECTIONS - maybe say first street right over the bridge as the street sign isn’t very clear. No electric blankets for cold frogs like us from Melbourne! Needs a blower to cleanup the entrance and back doorways before new people arrive. Also a dish brush/ jex would. be good to clean pans after cooking. A clock on the wall would also be great.

What a great apartment! We were pleasantly surprised by the space and facilities. Having a designated sitting area for relaxing, and a sitting area for eating with a fully equiped kitchen as well as a well designed bathroom added to the great experience. Also appreciated that one could utilise the 3 methods of sorting rubbish, which is not often available when one is staying in apartments/units. Well done!

Any chance of having screen door on the main entrance door and back door as it was pleasant to leave it open during the early evening but then the flies were a nuisance. Having a mirror on the side instead in front of the basin, made it at times difficult to use comfortably.

What a fabulous location about 1km out of town- easy walk to Fisherman’s wharf and all the local beautiful attractions. The apartment was lovely. Very comfy lounge and bed. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom was also very tastefully done. Lovely shower Anna - reception was just so friendly and welcoming. Dave the manager was also welcoming and gave me a good tip about a beach to explore Danni the owner was also so welcoming and congratulations on a great little resort business! Bermagui is a lovely place I spent time choosing accommodation and having now seen others I am pleased with my choice. Space was my priority this stay Communal living comes with some downsides(noise,privacy) but the Anchorage was in quiet location next to river Stylish interior. Good shower. Same tv as I have so joy of being familiar with remote Reviews are very subjective:The bed was the one my back liked best on my trip ( 8 venues) but glad I bought my own pillow. Also found the lounge comfortable

I would have loved a view but I couldn’t manage the stairs I Would have appreciated shower cap for rain shower

Clean, great location, quiet and comfortable. Kids loved the trampoline. Really well maintained grounds. Close to water and short drive or walk to everything needed.

Nothing that we didn’t like, one improvement might be for the car parking to be labeled a little better, we found our space in the end but it was a little obscure compared to the others and it seemed like people were just parking anywhere. Not a criticism at all, had a lovely time in Bermagui and the accommodation was great.

A charming little granny flat situated in the lovely town of Birchwood. Very well located and perfect for a short stay to enjoy country hospiality.

Very minor comments but be warned derive way is very narrow for parking and would be a tight fit if you have a large vehicle. Also kitchen is quite cramped but certainly met our needs for a two night stay.
